GARY DOURDAN ARRESTED

CSI star Gary Dourdan was arrested early Monday in Palm Springs, Calif., for alleged drug possession, according to local police.

Shortly after 5 a.m., a patrol officer spotted Dourdan parked on the wrong side of the street and he appeared to be sleeping, the Palm Springs Police Department said in a statement.

Dourdan was found in possession of suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and prescription pills, the statement added...WTF???? Those are hard core drugs. I just figured it was weed.

The officer described Dourdan, 41, as "disoriented" and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Over the weekend, Dourdan had attended the Coachella Music Festival, which took place in nearby Indio, Calif. After five hours in custody, the actor posted $5,000 bail and was released. A rep for the actor wasn't immediately available for comment. His arraignment is set for May 28.

So surprise, surprise....Jennifer Lopez' new reality show has some stipulations.

“The recent show Jennifer Lopez plans to produce for TLC is not a reality show,” says her manager, Simon Fields. “It’s a show that will track the creation, production and eventual launch of a new fragrance. Jennifer will appear in a creative, entrepreneurial capacity and will absolutely not feature her children and family life.”

There is no broadcast date set for the show, but Fields says it will be this year.

I thought the reality show was a very unJ.Lo-like move. I still plan on watching.

JAY-Z BACKS LEBRON

So Jay-Z has jumped in the middle of a 3-way rivalry involving Cleveland Cavaliers Forward LeBron James, Washington Wizards Guard DeShawn Stevenson, and teen rapper Soulja Boy.

"Ask my n*gga LeBron, we so big we ain't gotta respond," raps Jay-Z on a new freestyle over Too $hort's "Blow the Whistle."

Prior to an NBA playoff game between the Wizards and Cavaliers, DeShawn dismissed LeBron as being "overrated." James, on the other hand, said that responding to DeShawn would be like Jay-Z responding to a diss from Soulja Boy. In the new song, Jay-Z boasts that LeBron is worth every dime, "Who the f*ck is overrated? If anything, they underpaid him," snipes Jay-Z on the new song. On DeShawn's invitation, Soulja Boy showed up to Game 3 of the Cavs vs Wizards playoff series in a Washington Wizards jersey, clearly inidicating his support for LeBron's opponents. "I mean, I've got to support who support me, and that's the Wizards," said Soulja Boy at the game.

Don't expect DeShawn to hop on the mic and take shots at Jay-Z though. His response to the diss was full of admiration for the hip-hop legend.

"Jay-Z is a legend. He'll go down in history. No disrespect to Jay-Z," said Stevenson. "I take it as a compliment. I like his music. I like everything he does. I would never go at a legend."

Wearing a humongous, gleaming ring on her left hand, Mariah Carey stayed close to Nick Cannon at the afterparty for her new film, Tennessee, on Saturday night. The pair held hands at the bash at Cadillac Lounge at Tenjune, which followed the movie's premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

[Nick] was at her side from 8 p.m. to about 10:45 p.m. in Tenjune's VIP room, where they were joined by her BFF, Da Brat. Zoe Kravitz and Ben Kingsley also stopped by.

Meanwhile, before the premiere, Carey played it coy, saying she only has eyes for one male: Jack, her Jack Russell terrier. "I'm in love with my dog," said the singer, 39. "He is my special someone. I love spending time with him."

PATERNITY TEST ORDERED SON CLAIMING TO BE JAMES BROWN'S SON

The James Brown drama never ceases....

The NY Daily News is reported that a South Carolina judge has ordered a paternity test for the 6-year-old son of a woman who claims to be James Brown's widow.

Judge Jack Early said the DNA test on James Brown 2nd should be completed within the next 30 days.

Trustees handling the singer's estate questioned the claims by Tomi Rae Hynie that her son is Brown's, attorneys representing Hynie and the child said.

"Clearly, James Brown has held up this child to be his son," said Peter Shahid, a court-appointed attorney for James Brown 2nd, adding that the child has received Social Security and insurance benefits since the soul singer's death.

Hynie's attorney, Robert Rosen, said his client has never objected to a paternity test.

"She's said that she was in favor and would do the test, provided that the other children also took the test," Rosen said. "She didn't feel like her son should be singled out."
