Lady Gaga GQ cover banned in the US

According to the magazine's web site, the cover has been banned by "certain U.S. chains" because Gaga is showing the lower portion of her left breast, which is apparently a big no-no. In addition, New York state law also prohibits showing any area of the breast below the nipple, which could sacrifice the magazine's additional distribution in NYC, as well.

Gagaloo has yet to comment on the cover being banned, but in a statement published on QTheMagazine.com, the magazine's editors "can't help wonder what Lady Gaga herself would make of this turn of events, given her prophetic quote, standing at the start of the Q photo shoot with a dildo in her hand, 'It'd be a real f**king story, right'..."

JUVENILE ARRESTED

Juvenile and an associate producer have been arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana after neighbors told police they could smell pot coming from a house being used as a recording studio in Louisiana.



The 34-year-old rap star, whose real name is Terius Gray, was booked on Thursday at a jail in St. Bernard Parish southeast of New Orleans. Gray and his 42-year-old producer Leroy Edwards were released later that night on bond.

NE-YO ARRESTED???

According to the rumor mill, Ne-yo was arrested over the weekend.

Whatever the problem was seems to have stemmed from a rowdy entourage member.

Apparently Ne-yo was enjoying the attentions of several comely admirers Saturday night following a performance. Reports say a restaurant patron came into some sort of physical contact with one of the young lovelies, and that one of Ne-Yo’s associates took matters into his own hands.

Somehow a bus boy ended up taking a punch.

Upon leaving the restaurant where this all went down the singer and his hangers-on were searched by Oslo authorities.

While it doesn’t appear anyone was seriously injured, the specter of lawsuits has begun floating around.

Director Nabil Elderkin said for “Coldest Winter,” one of the most personal records on the emotional project, based on West’s past relationship with his former fiance and the lost of his mother, the video isn’t as intense as their previous work together.

“It’s pretty minimalistic,” he said. “It’s slow and very visual. I just wanted to catch the vibe of the song and not get too literal. Because the lyrics are very close to Kanye and go much deeper than the video goes, obviously hearing the song you know it’s very emotional.”

The director wrote the treatment for the project and described the final product as a boundary-pushing effort compared to their past work. According to Elderkin, the pair experimented in the visual medium in a way they haven’t ever done before. He said the process was more challenging for him, particularly since West wasn’t a part of the editing process and only saw the final version.

THE WOODS OFFER AN APOLOGY

Tiger Woods, who recently apologized for catting around to a long list of people, has now issued an apology to parents.

"Dear Premier Academy parents," they wrote jointly in a note to the school in Windemere, Fla., where the Woods family lives.

"We would like to share our appreciation for your support over the past several months and offer our personal apology for any inconvenience you are experiencing due to the increased media scrutiny surrounding our children."

The Woods' daughter, Sam, is a student at the school.

"We truly understand how frustrating it can be," they wrote. "We hope that the paparazzi will find something better to do with their time in the near future."

The letter was obtained Tuesday by WFTV.com in nearby Orlando.

Woods and his wife were last seen in Arizona, where the world's greatest golfer was reportedly undergoing sex addiction therapy to exorcise the demons that drove him to cheat on his wife with a harem of hotties.

On Friday, Woods faced the cameras for the first time since the scandal broke around Thanksgiving and apologized to everyone from Elin to his corporate sponsors for letting lust ruin his life and threaten his money-making brand.

JAY-Z UNDER INVESTIGATION

It's so hard to keep Hov's business dealings, but it looks like he's under investigation.

According to the New York Post, the rap mogul's involvement with the Aqueduct Entertainment Group (AEG)—the consortium chosen to run a multi-billion dollar race track/casino at the Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens and his connection with New York state Governor David Patterson —has ignited a federal investigation.

According to reports, authorities are more than skeptical about the selection of AEG to operate the new venture and what role Jay played in swaying New York Governor David Patterson's decision.

Paterson, who is known for having a relationship with the 40-year-old rapper—has a seven percent stake in AEG and according to sources, knew that Jay-Z had been trying to get involved with the investment since last year. One source reportedly told the Post that Jay eventually linked up with casino mogul Steve Wynn, who at the time was bidding for control.

According to reports [Gov.] Patterson advised Wynn that “he needed to have a minority partner” and that is when, according to sources, Wynn reached out to Jay-Z. But when Wynn pulled out, Jay-Z was without a home.

The source then claims that when Wynn's deal went sour, AEG scooped up Jay to appeal to the governor.

AEG denies that it tapped the Hip-Hop heavyweight to win the governor's favor.

LIL WAYNE WITH ANOTHER BABY ON THE WAY

So according to the rumor mill, Weezy may have a baby on the way with Shannell, none other than D. Wood's sister. Rumors started when the two were spotted snuggling about...

Shanell began as a background dancer for artists like Kandi Burress, Petey Pablo and Ne-Yo before deciding to write songs. Teaming with her high school friend and producer Bangladesh, Shanell recorded a demo tape and aimed to become an artist herself along with writing for other people. She met Wayne while serving as a back-up dancer for Ne-Yo during the Up Close and Personal Tour (which featured the rapper along with Chris Brown) and eventually passed the rapper Bangladesh's beat for "A Milli," which became a huge street hit for the Young Money leader. Soon after, Shanell joined Lil Wayne's artist enclave and began recording, touring and performing her single "Play in My Band" as well as co-writing songs for Wayne.

Now, as she preps her as-yet-untitled debut album, Shanell said the rumors about whether she's dating Lil Wayne have run rampant but have no basis in reality.

"Basically it came from a corny rumor that escalated," Shanell told MTV News. "First I was dating him, then I was his girlfriend, then we were getting married, then we were settling down and now I'm pregnant. It's so foolish we've haven't paid it any attention."

So what of the widely circulated photo where the two are hugging?

"We're taking a picture," she said.

The singer-songwriter says that the dating rumors were fine, but the pregnancy chatter was not.

RIHANNA READY TO SEE THE LIGHT

Thank you....Rihanna has finally saw the light. She's letting go of her dark ways as she readies for her new album.

"Rated R, I love the sound of it, in terms of the bass," Rihanna explained to MTV Korea. "I really like the bottom, the grime of it. But if I were to combine that with more energetic, up-tempo pop records, then I think that will be a happy marriage. And that's where we'll probably go next."

JOE JACKSON GETS MEDICAL DOCS OF MICHAEL

Michael Jackson's father can receive some medical records related to his superstar son's death, a judge ruled Friday.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff ruled that Joe Jackson can receive his son's medical records from the hospital where he died. The judge will review the records first before releasing them to Joe Jackson's attorney, Brian Oxman. Beckloff also said the men can only receive records generated on or after June 25 - the day Michael Jackson died at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Oxman sought the files as part of an effort to obtain a monthly stipend for the Jackson family patriarch. He said during a hearing last week that he also needs the records to decide whether to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit.

Beckloff's order states a medical expert hired by Joe Jackson can review the files, but not copy them. Anyone who sees the records will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement, the ruling states.

Jackson's estate had sought to quash subpoenas that Oxman issued for the files. Attorneys for the estate argued during a hearing last week that Beckloff should review the files first. They also stated the files shouldn't be released until after the results of a May hearing on Joe Jackson's stipend bid.

Oxman said he was pleased with the ruling and expects to have the records soon.

Beckloff is going to verify the records do not violate doctor-patient confidentiality. Oxman said he didn't expect that to be an issue.

"We are very certain based on prior records that we have from the paramedics that Michael was long deceased and that there were no communications (with doctors)," Oxman said.

He said Joe Jackson deserves to know more about how his son died and the records will also be important in his quest to receive an allowance of more than $15,000 per month.

So what does Kemp have planned for the birthday girl?

"(Matt) really wanted to do something nice for Rihanna this year since she didn't have much of a 21st birthday last year," a source told E! News. The "small get-together" will reportedly include the couple's "closest friends, good Jamaican food, a photo booth, dancing and a nice cake."

ASHANTI'S STALKER ARRESTED

A Manhattan judge sentenced a man who bombarded the mom of singer Ashanti with pictures of his private parts to two years in jail.

Calling it a "completely unsatisfactory situation," Supreme Court Justice Thomas Farber on Thursday ordered delusional Devar Hurd to jail for harassing and stalking the singer's mom, Tina Douglas, with raunchy text messages and what prosecutors labeled "self-created pornography."

Hurd -- whom the judge would have preferred putting on probation and in treatment -- had insisted the pictures of him pleasuring himself were "for the ladies."

"Yes, I've sent some adult text messages, for adults only," Hurd said. "My intent was not to harm."

The self-styled hip-hop CEO, model and car salesman has been jailed at Rikers Island since being arrested in July for swamping Douglas with years' worth of cell phone filth meant for Ashanti.

"Even if he believed that Ashanti was in love with him, his conduct was not that of a man wooing a woman," said assistant district attorney Carolina Holderness. "It's not like he was sending her flowers."

Hurd, 31, had said he and Ashanti shared a connection after their eyes locked for a split second at a Chicago concert. That fleeting moment launched his wacky campaign to contact Ashanti, in which he sang into the answering machine of hip-hop mogul Irv Gotti and rhapsodized about having sex with the singer.

"I only wish the best for her and her career," he said.

Farber said he would have preferred to place Hurd on probation and in a program to combat what he described was "a very serious mental illness."

The judge was left with few options, though, because Hurd's family recently moved to Illinois, and a hoped-for probation sentence could not be worked out with that state.

Farber ordered that Hurd's Indiana license to carry a semi-automatic weapon be revoked, shaking his head as he expressed disbelief that he had been granted a permit.

"Mr. Hurd, I realize that you don't want to hear this, but it's obvious to me that you need help," Farber said.

Hurd's lawyer, Richard Verchick, said he will appeal.

FANTASIA RECEIVES HATE MAIL

Fantasia is receiving hate mail.

The "American Idol" winner had just finished a performance of "The Color Purple" in Los Angeles Friday when the letter was delivered in a stack of fan mail, TMZ.com reports.

Fantasia's manager told TMZ that the singer became "alarmed" over the racially charged note, which included the n-word and a line that read "go back where you came from and die."

Sources told TMZ the letter-writer claims to have worked as a security guard for Fox during Fantasia's "Idol" run.

The incident was reported to the LAPD, and the venue, Pantages Theater, has stepped up its security measures.

Fantasia isn't running scared, however. She told TMZ, "I will not be defeated by one person's hatred."

NAS PLEADS NOT GUILTY

Nas faces a criminal contempt charge for unpaid child and spousal support in his divorce from Kelis. NY Daily News reports:

The rapper pleaded not guilty through his attorney and was ordered back for a March hearing in Los Angeles.

Kelis' attorney says Nas is $200,000 behind on child and spousal support. He was ordered to pay more than $51,000 per month to his former wife and infant son in December.

Judge David S. Cunningham III, who is overseeing the divorce proceedings, said Friday it's starting to look like the rapper is trying to evade court orders.

One of Nas' attorneys, Anthony Ukran, told Cunningham the rapper needs more time to prepare his defense and show he's unable to pay the court-ordered support amounts.

Tiger Woods' porn-star ex-mistress claims the disgraced golfer knocked her up twice, but her stepmother is giving her story a cold shower, describing her as a "compulsive liar."

In dueling interviews, Joslyn James said she paid the consequences for not practicing safe-sex with Woods while Deborah Siwik said her step-daughter is not to be believed.

"Joslyn is a compulsive liar and a bad mom," Siwik told Radaronline.com.

Siwik did not completely discount James's claims of becoming pregnant twice by Tiger, but added that any number of men could have left her in the family way.

"It's possible she got pregnant by Tiger Woods, but she was involved with a lot of other men, too," Siwik said.

"He's no saint," she said of Woods, "but I don't envy him getting involved with Joslyn James - she is a bad person who only wants to be famous."

In an interview with "Inside Edition" that was to air Monday night, James, 32, insisted Woods got her pregnant twice.

The first pregnancy, she said, ended in a miscarriage and the second was aborted.

She said she never told Woods about the pregnancies, which coincided with the two pregnancies of the golfer's wife, Elin.

"The first one was when [Elin] was pregnant with Sam," said James, referring to Woods's 2-year-old daughter.

The second time she got pregnant, James said she quietly had an abortion, explaining, "Elin was pregnant with Charlie at that time. I just didn't want to ruin anything.

"I feel bad for [Elin]," added James, who says she carried on a steamy three-year affair with Woods. "She didn't deserve this and she didn't deserve being humiliated."

Angelina Jolie gave Brad Pitt a 200-year-old olive tree, worth close to $20K for Valentine's Day, London's Sun reports.

Jolie, 34, reportedly plans to plant the tree on the couple's $60 million estate in the south of France.

"Ange bought it from a nursery called The English Garden Centre in Valbonne, near their house. It's a very special tree and cost her a fortune," an unnamed source tells the British newspaper.

Traditionally a symbol of peace and reconciliation, the olive branch will no doubt lead to further rumors about the couple's supposedly testy relationship.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN FOUND DEAD

Bad news fashion fans.....

Alexander McQueen, the iconic British fashion designer with an A-list clientele, was found dead Thursday inside his London home after reportedly killing himself.

The 40-year-old McQueen, the son of a taxi driver who wound up making suits for Prince Charles and gowns for Oscar-winner Kate Winslet, committed suicide, according to the London Daily Mail.

"At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated," his family said in a statement.

His company spokeswoman, Samantha Garrett, confirmed the death of the four-time "British Designer of the Year" winner but declined to provide any details.

"We don't have any information in terms of circumstances," she said.

An ambulance called to a London address at about 10:40 a.m. found McQueen already dead, police said.

The designer was reportedly despondent over the death of his mother last week.

McQueen was one of the fashion world's biggest design stars, traveling in the same circles as top models Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.

His list of superstar clients included Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, Fergie, Cameron Diaz and Katie Holmes. McQueen was born in London's East End, and took to fashion at a young age - dropping out of school at 16 to apprentice on Savile Row.

NY Daily News reports that John Mayer is putting Jessica Simpson on blast:

According to John Mayer, Jessica Simpson is "crazy" in bed.

UsMagazine.com got a first look at Playboy magazine’s March issue, in which the singer kisses and tells about his high-profile relationship with Simpson.

Calling her "a drug," Mayer, 35, claims that sex with the busty blond singer, whom he dated from 2006 to 2007, was highly addictive for him.

"And drugs aren't good for you if you do lots of them," he says. "Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me."

"Sexually it was crazy. That's all I'll say," he adds. "It was like napalm, sexual napalm. Did you ever say, 'I want to quit my life and just f-----’ snort you? If you charged me $10,000 to f--- you, I would start selling all my s--- just to keep f------ you.'"

Mayer’s TMI-interview is almost as revealing as his recent Rolling Stone cover, where he spoke at length about masturbation.

In the Playboy spread, however, he becomes much more reserved in describing his failed relationship with Jennifer Aniston, even denying his song "Heartbreak Warfare" is about her.
"That woman would never use heartbreak warfare," he tells Playboy. "That woman was the most communicative, sweetest, kindest person."

The singer also insists his penchant for Twitter was not the cause of their breakup last year.
"There was a rumor that I'd been dumped because I was tweeting too much," he says. "That wasn't it, but that was a big difference. The brunt of her success came before TMZ and Twitter. I think she's still hoping it goes back to 1998.

"She saw my involvement in technology as courting distraction. And I always said, 'These are the new rules.'"

Despite his ill-fated romances, Mayer admits to keeping busy between the sheets since becoming single.

"I'm going to say four or five. No more," he says modestly. "But even if I said 12, that's a reasonable number. So is 15. Here's the thing: I get less a-- now than I did when I was in a local band. Because now I don't like jumping through hoops."

For now, he says he is trying to keep his name out of the tabloids and avoid breaking any more hearts.

"I hate being the heartbreaker. Hate it," he says. "If I date somebody and it doesn't work out, it's another nightmare for me."

MICHAEL JACKSON'S DOCTOR SURRENDERS

Amid shouts of "murderer!" from the onlookers, Michael Jackson's personal physician surrendered today to a courthouse to face a charge of involuntary manslaughter.



Dr. Conrad Murray, 57, who once was paid $150,000 a month to treat Jackson before a major comeback concert series, pleaded not guilty to the charge filed earlier in the day by the Los Angeles District Attorney.

Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz set bail for $75,000 – rejecting prosecutors' request for $300,000 – and ordered Murray to surrender his passport. Murray was granted permission to continue practicing medicine as long as he doesn't administer anesthesia.

"I'm talking about deep anesthetic, where you put somebody to sleep," the judge said. "You can be in a room where another doctor is doing it, but you can't do that."

The county coroner says that Jackson was given an overdose of the hospital-strength anesthetic propofol that Jackson was using for insomnia. Jackson was under Murray's care at the time.

The Caribbean-raised physician was driven up in an SUV at the court building near Los Angeles International Airport. Sheriff’s deputies escorted him inside as the crowed yelled.
