"I've noticed I'm putting on weight faster this time, I started showing sooner," she says. Also, I have to hold myself back because I want to work harder than I'm able to."

When it comes to nutrition, "Pregnancy isn't 'I can eat whatever I want,' because you have to remember you're going to be stuck with a lot of that weight afterwards that you need to try to get off. So I don't recommend 'grubbing,'" she says, admitting she succumbs to the occasional pregnancy craving.

"I have cravings all the time, even when I'm not pregnant," Ali says. "I made a strawberry shortcake last night." And? "It was great."

Bed bugs aren’t the only pest invading mid-Atlantic states this year: stink bugs are now posing a serious problem, causing damage to fruit and vegetable crops that has reached critical levels, the New York Times reported on Sunday. WTF AMERICA???

Although they don’t bite, the brown marmorated stink bugs (Halyomorpha halys) are a hassle for homeowners — particularly if they are stepped upon, causing the emission of a strong skunk-like odor.

However, stink bugs pose no known health dangers, and even the fruit they invade is edible once the hardened parts are removed. “Marmorated” refers to their marbled appearance.

Effective stink bug control begins with some do-it-yourself prevention, says Ehrlich Pest Control’s Kristin Golden Mancuso. As a home owner you can do a number of things to prevent stink bugs, such as:

• seal holes in exterior walls larger than the diameter of a pencil
• check door and window frames for holes
• ensure that door sweeps, doors and windows are tight-fitting and
• be sure your window screens fit tightly

Both live and dead stink bugs can be removed with a vacuum cleaner, however the vacuum may smell like stink bugs for a period of time. Some people prefer to sweep the stink bugs up using a broom and dust pan and will then discard them in an outdoor trash receptacle.

Royal Pest Management also says that prevention is most important and give detailed tips to make sure the smelly bugs don’t get in:

• Stink bugs are looking for a place to "overwinter" (hibernate). They are attracted to the brightest, most reflective side of the home (usually the south side) and then look for a way in for a cold/dark place to shut down and survive the winter. Seal all cracks and crevices on the sunny side of your home, especially.
• Stink bugs feed in trees in the summer and like leafy plants and fruits...like tomato plants. Cut back the leafy plants so they don’t touch your house. Keep them at least a foot to 18 inches from the house. If you have a vegetable garden near your home (less than 20 feet), especially tomatoes, pull them out.

In a profile in Sunday's New York Times, the Toronto MC said he was "a pawn" to Rihanna. Now, his revealing remarks about their long-rumored fling are making headlines.

"That's a moment that I've been eager, sort of, to explain," he told MTV News. "I feel like when people write about it or try to take an excerpt from me describing it, it's gonna sound negative. And in no way was it negative. I'm at one of the greatest places in my life — I'm on top of the world. LYFE LOCKED BACK UP

After being arrested in October of 2008, for an altercation with the mother of his child, Joy Bounds, he will head back to jail to serve a 3.5 yr sentence. He was charged with a DUI test refusal, criminal trespassing, discharging a weapon near a street, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. He was later released from jail on a $50,000 bond.

Two Georgia men have filed a lawsuit claiming that prominent Atlanta, Georgia, pastor Eddie Long coerced them into sex.

The suits, filed Tuesday in DeKalb County, Georgia, allege that Long used his position as a spiritual authority and bishop to coerce young male members and employees of his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church into sex.

"Defendant Long has a pattern and practice of singling out a select group of young male church members and using his authority as Bishop over them to ultimately bring them to a point of engaging in a sexual relationship," the suits allege.

Long is considered one of the nation's top black preachers. His church has more 25,000 members, according to the suit, and was the site of Coretta Scott King's 2006 funeral, attended by then-President George W. Bush and three previous presidents.

KANYE MOVING UP IN THE WORLD AGAIN

Well SNL seems to be added to the long list of people who have forgiven Kanye West. The rapper will be the next musical gueest on the late night sketch comedy show on October 2nd, joining host Bryan Cranston from “Breaking Bad.”

GABBY A LITTLE LIGHTER?

Gabourey Sidibe was one of four young actresses to appear on four separate covers of Elle magazine's 25th anniversary issue. However, several media outlets accused Elle of digitally lightening her skin.

According to Elle, 'nothing out of the ordinary was done' to the cover images.

"We have four separate covers this month and Gabby's cover was not retouched any more or less than the others. We had 25 cover-worthy subjects in our portfolio and we chose Gabby because of who she is. We shot this as a story of exuberant young women changing the world. If you take a look at the portfolio, each of the women were shot in different ways and for different reasons."

FOXY'S BROTHER PLEADS GUILTY

Foxy Brown's brother, Gavin "Pretty Boy" Marchand, pleaded not guilty to felony identity theft charges Thursday - and was then cuffed on new criminal charges.

"They're re-arresting him for grand larceny," Herman Wun, Marchand's surprised lawyer, said outside a Manhattan Supreme courtroom as his client was taken into custody by burly, plain-clothed detectives.

Marchand, 35, who has dabbled on stage as his sister's sidekick, was arrested in August for a shopping spree with a series of allegedly fake credit cards.

Details of the new case were unclear, and Wun said he had not been told his client would be arrested - and knew little about the new case.

One of Marchand's pals, Warren David, was also re-arrested, and the two will be arraigned Thursday night or Friday on the new charges.

In the original case, Gavin and three pals were busted for trying to purchase French luxury goods at Hermes, an upper East Side boutique, with bogus plastic on Aug. 7.

"On a plea to the charge, we're recommending 3 1/2 to 7 years in jail," Assistant District Attorney Toni Mardirossian told a judge.

She said Marchand and one of his co-defendants, Derwin Benoit, have prior felony convictions, she said.

Gavin was busted in August when a sales person at Hermes on Madison Ave. quickly recognized the supposed American Express corporate card was fake.

Something about the front of the card and the magnetic strip were unusual, court documents show.

After David, 31, tried to use the bogus Amex card, Marchand handed over a phony MasterCard, according to court documents. The clerk held that card under a black light, showing that one wasn't real either.

They didn't stop there. Warren allegedly pulled out a second Amex card, which worked, and bought $7,882.55 worth of merchandise.

Two other men, Ryan Campbell, 32, and Benoit, 34, were charged in connection with the plastic shopping spree.

The four men, with Benoit at the wheel, were nabbed by cops after they made a 90-mph getaway attempt in a car littered with credit cards and receipts, according to court records.

JAY-Z & EMINEM PERFORM AT YANKEE

Jay-Z and Eminem took over New York Monday and Tuesday night as they performed the first concert at the new Yankee Stadium. The crowd was sold-out crowd with surprise appearances from Kanye, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Swizz Beatz.



On closing night, Eminem brought the crowd to its feet by bringing out 50 Cent, who then brought out G-Unit's Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo with him. The trio sported glow-in-the-dark gear as the lights cut out during 50's performance of "I Get Money."

The show was smooth, but not without any hiccups. While Drake delivered "Light Up" with Jay-Z; minutes later, he stumbled through his and Nicki Minaj's "Up All Night." Hov told the crowd during his final song that he may have to offer the Young Money rapper a "free verse" to make up for messing up his sound.

MINORITY REPORT: PENELOPE CRUZ EXPECTING

After months of speculation, a rep for Penelope Cruz has revealed that the actress is in fact expecting.

Mariah Carey will be the subject of a tell-all book, when producer Da Mizza releases Guilty By Association, a new book detailing his love affair with the superstar singer.

Da Mizza, born Damion Young, claims that he was Mariah's producer as well as her live-in-boyfriend, when he worked in radio as an executive at L.A.'s Power 106. Additionally, as a producer, Da Mizza has sold over 30 million records, by co-produced or worked with artists like Dr. Dre, Michael Jackson, Hootie & The Blowfish, Eric Burdon and others.

According to Da Mizza, who produced Mariah's hit singles "Crybaby," "Irresistible" and "I Still Believe," the book will reveal details about "one of the industry's most passionate love affair."

“It’s the truth,” Damizza said in a statement. “When it comes to the music industry I know how deep the rabbit hole goes ... and I’m taking fans along for the ride. But there’s a lot more to my story than introducing Mariah to Eminem."

According to Da Mizza, Mariah's attorney's served him with a cease-and-desist request to block the release of the book, which also details the exploits of other music industry figures the producer has encountered.

I don't know how many of you watch the Hills, but Audrina Patridge was one of my fav looks so I had to post. She was decked in a platinum sequined Isaac Mizrahi minidress and blinged-out accessories, including Jacob & Company jewelry, Balmain rhinestone sandals and Judith Leiber belts. She looked simple, young and fresh.

VMA PERFORMANCES

Nicki Minaj performed during the pre-show. Admittedly, I was multitasking while viewing it. I mostly just saw a bunch of booty popping though.

Sorry Nicki fans, I don’t knock her hustle but when I see her all I see is Lil Kim. The way to stop that is to simply stop jacking her style.


Eminen opened with a surprise performance from Rihanna. Not my favorite RiRi look but she takes chances and that counts for something. She keeps things interesting.


Usher had a huge performance full of lights and dancers.

He did his thing..and after slow record sales and a lot of personal drama he needed this. Hopefully this will bring the attention back to his talent and off of his personal life.


Drake brought out enough swag to bring the old Mary back. It was a nice classy performance



And finally the man we all waited for. "Let's have a toast for the douche bags, Let's have a toast for the assholes....." After all the hoopla from last year's awards he didn't disappoint. He kept it simple and incredibly interesting..interesting song choice, he did his own music, the dancers were interesting. It was so simple people were waiting on the edge of their chairs for something to pop off. I enjoyed it and after a year, we need to let that old Taylor Swift -ish go.


Speaking of Taylor...she performed. Apparently, the song was about last year’s incident concerning Kanye West. Admittedly I'll have to see that again because I have no idea what the song was about. I couldn't tell if she was forgiving him or jabbing him.

MATT BARNES ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

That's what's up....

Matt was arrested in Sacramento, CA around 4:16PM yesterday after a domestic violence situation at his home went down. Cops arrived on the scene after an "incomplete 911 call" was placed. Both parties--Matt and the "mystery woman"--had visible injuries. Matt was charged with suspicion of domestic violence AND violent obstruction of the use of a telephone line.

Matt took to twitter and the News to claim his innocence after posting his $50,000 bond around 9:15pm last night:

"I was the victim but still got arrested."

The report also states that Barnes also texted May, "U know any domestic violence situation 9 outa 10 times the man gets arrested. That's the case here I was the victim but still got arrested. No matter what I say people are gonna think what they want..."

Barnes also posted the following on his Twitter page, ""DON'T LET YOUR EARS WITNESS, WHAT YOUR EYES DIDN'T SEE!!!"

JAY-Z SIGNS WILLOW SMITH

Willow Smith, 9, has signed a record deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation record label -- and her debut hip-hop single "Whip My Hair" has already been viewed over 100,000 times on YouTube just a day after its release.

In a radio interview today with Ryan Seacrest, Jay-Z said that little Willow is destined for superstardom -- and he even compared her to Michael Jackson.

"I heard the record first before I knew that it was recorded by a nine year old and I was like, man that record's a smash," Jay-Z said. "I believe in superstars. I believe in big records and in superstars and I think [Willow] has both."

"She has a child's innocence but she has a clear vision of who she is and who she wants to be," he continued. "I can only imagine that's how Mike [Michael Jackson] was as a young kid, he knew exactly what he wanted."

MINORITY REPORT: GAGA BATTLES WITH WEIGHT

The NY Daily News reports that Lady Gaga was hospitalized 6 times in a year for dangerous bouts with diets

According to RadarOnline.com, Gaga's tour manager, David Ciemny, claimed that while on tour she would scarf down unhealthy food and then stop eating for weeks to fit into her famous costumes.

At one point, she reportedly lost 20 pounds between fittings.

"The pressure on her to lose weight was very high," Wendy Starland, who helped discover Gaga, is quoted as saying, according to popeater.com.

Earlier this year, the New York native told London’s Daily Telegraph she was mocked for her size while at school.

"I had a very big nose, very curly brown hair and I was overweight," Gaga told the London newspaper. "I got made fun of.”

Rumors of a serious illness reached a fever pitch earlier this year after the singer cancelled two gigs and appeared to collapse on stage during a gig in New Zealand.

Though Gaga said her jet lag was to blame for the collapse, she later suggested to London's Times that she may have the autoimmune disease lupus – typical symptoms include breathing problems, heart palpitations and extreme fatigue.

In the same interview, the singer denied she had an eating disorder but admitted she took prescription medication to control her thoughts.

KANYE STILL APOLOGIZING A YEAR LATER

Kanye writes a song for Taylor ...



"I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it," he said on his Twitter Saturday morning. "If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her."

Perhaps a sly nod to her pop anthem, "You're Not Sorry," which was released on her 2008 album Fearless?

Nearly a year since he first apologized to Swift, the hip-hop artist is still offering up I'm sorries, calling her "justa lil girl with dreams like the rest of us" on his Twitter.

"She deserves the apology more than anyone," he Tweeted, before thanking the creators of Twitter for making a public platform for expression. "We're both artist[s] and the media and managers are trying to get between us. Everyone wants to capitalize off this [in] some way."

She apologized to me… I don’t even judge her. I can’t. She’s totally different than the other one. This other one knew. Alicia knew about me 100 percent. Swizz introduced me at prior events. They were signed to the same record company. She knew. And I emailed her and asked her to stop doing what she was doing and she disregarded me. Just like she disregarded me when I asked her to not have my son thinking it was okay to call her “umi.” You’re not his umi. You just met my son.

Mashonda: “Umi” means “mommy” in Arabic. I’m like no. And then after I spoke to the lady in London, she told me that she tried to get her daughter to call her “umi” as well.
S2S: She’s met the lady in London?
Mashonda: Yes. I’m glad she’s having her own child now because now she will have someone to call her “umi”.

Mashonda: Like, if you want to be a stepmother, that’s great. Be a stepmother. But don’t think that it’s okay to make a kid call you “umi” or “mommy.”

GV Says: I'm sorry guys, but I AM OVER MASHONDA!!!! Get over it already! This is nothing new. Both women and men have dealt with this for years so I'm perplexed why she can't drop it. I'm so sorry this happened in her marriage - and yes I've been married. But you've got to learn how to be a bigger woman and move on. This is simply not healthy and it's old. At this point I'm no longer looking at Alicia, but wondering why Mashonda is still going on and on about it. And I don't blame Alicia for not responding...for what???? So you can print it off and show the world like you're doing now. This is so disgusting to me.....
