The NY Daily News reports:
"He looks really frail," said photographer Mike Lopez, who captured several images of Jacko. "His skin was peeling and . . . he looks so thin and gaunt."
Jackson, 49, showed up wearing pajamas and slippers and spent about two hours Monday inside a Barnes & Noble store in Sin City, where he lives.
He browsed through children's books and CDs while the kids sat separately at a reading table.

The one-time chart-topping star wore a black scarf to cover most of his face, a surgical-style mask and a Marines baseball cap.
"He didn't look well," Lopez said.
Jackson and the kids - Prince I, 11; daughter Paris, 10; and Prince II, 6 - left separately.
It's unclear if Jackson has some new health worries, but he has claimed he has skin problems that force him to cover himself at all times."
GV Says: Poor MJ. It's always something w/ this guy. I wonder if he's ever sought therapy. Something is clearly wrong and has been since he hit that stage. Although people like to blame Joe, you can't tell me this bizarre behavior is all Joe's fault.
One more thing....there's no way those kids are his. Regardless of his skin disease, please understand that Michael was once a brown-skinned black man. The math doesn't add up.
