Another thing most question is your last name. Any special reason for keeping it Raymond?
(Laughs) I don’t think because a relationship oesn’t work, you have to change your name back. It’s an asinine question. Why not? Prior to getting married I kept my ex-husband’s last name. People have such a short expectancy for marriage that when they divorce it’s ‘Why does she still have his name?’ Dude, I was supposed to keep his name until I die. I wasn’t supposed to get a divorce (laughs).

If he came back tomorrow, would you take him back?
I don’t know. I’ve closed the chapter of having Usher as my mate. Now am I willing to reopen it? I can’t say. Do I still love him? I love him very much and you marry someone with the intent of sitting in a rocker with the person. I have sons that look just like him, so I have to deal with him pretty much every day.

GV Says: I'm not mad at her for keeping the last name. As a divorcee I have to say...it's not that serious. After a while you really stop thinking of it as "his" last name. I honestly would feel weird going back to my maiden name. Plus, if you've ever gone through the trouble of changing your name you really wouldn't sign up to change again so quickly. I guess it all depends on how it ended....Maybe if it was dramatic you might want to wipe the slate clean. Who knows....

When we ran this story by her publicist, Yvette Noel-Schur, she responded in an e-mail: "There is no comment on our client's private life," and did not return followup calls. "No comment" doesn't qualify as a confirmation or denial, but does surround Beyoncé with mystery.

TMZ reports:

The plaintiff, Hollywood Exotic Car Rental, claims Minaj agreed to rent a 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago -- at the rate of $1,750 a day -- to shoot her "Massive Attack" music video. But according to the suit -- filed [Friday] in L.A. County Superior Court -- the exotic car was driven "off-road" and damaged "in the approximate amount of $11,589.41."

Plus, they allege, Minaj didn't pay three days rent on the car -- that's another 5,250.

FAB IN TROUBLE

Police are investigating a possible link between Fabolous and the murder of a rapper near a Queens nightclub. The NY Daily News reports:

NYPD detectives aren't sure what role, if any, the Fab might have played in the March killing. A surveillance video shows Fabolous leaving Club Amazura seconds before a mystery gunman shot Greg (G-Baby) Brown in the back.

"[Fabolous] is about to get in the car as the shooting goes down," said a police source who watched the video.

Police and G-Baby's relatives say the rappers - both from Bedford-Stuyvesant - had a longstanding beef, though a source said they'd put it behind them.

"My son was going to talk to Fab in a car, and he got shot three times," grieving mother Roxanne Brown said. "I don't know what's going on. I just want to know who killed my son."

Homicide investigators have yet to interview Fabolous, whose real name is John Jackson, and won't until they get more information on his possible connection to the slaying. Police haven't made an arrest in the March 13 shooting, and Fabolous hasn't been named as a suspect.

G-Baby, 22, was a protégé of rapper Memphis Bleek. Memphis Bleek signed G-Baby to his record label, Get Low Records.

News of the young rapper's murder spread on the Internet after Fabolous wrote about it on Twitter seven hours after the shooting.

"Lost a soldier in the field this morning," he tweeted. "R.I.P. G Baby."

The night of the murder, G-Baby went to Club Amazura in Jamaica, Queens. G-Baby was asked to perform onstage while the crowd of 1,900 revelers anxiously awaited Fabolous' arrival.

Fabolous got there around 3a.m., said former NYPD hip-hop crimes investigator Derrick Parker, who was at the concert helping with security. Fabolous left the stage an hour later, Parker said. Soon after he left the club, there was gunfire at Archer Ave. and 143rd St.

G-Baby was shot in the back, and a person cops said was an innocent bystander was wounded in the groin. The second victim, a 20-year-old man, survived.

Parker has worked with detectives from the 103rd Precinct and the NYPD's intelligence unit acting as a bridge between the hip-hop community and police.

"G-Baby and Fabolous had beef before, but they supposedly squashed all of that," Parker said.

KID CUDI ARRESTED

Kid Cudi was arrested after going on a drunken tantrum in a young woman's Chelsea apartment early Friday, sources said.

The 26-year-old rapper - whose real name is Scott Mescudi - yanked the woman's door off the hinges and smashed her cell phone against a wall about 4:15a.m., police said.

It was not clear what sparked the fit of rage, but sources said Mescudi appeared intoxicated. Cops also found a glassine envelope of an unknown substance in his front pocket, sources said.

Kudi was charged with possession and felony criminal mischief.

These two may need to take some time apart. Being a duo isn't working out too well. The NY Post reports:



Chris Brown and rapper Bow Wow were unwelcome Wednesday night. First, the duo crashed the listening party to which they weren't invited for Drake's new album at MSR studios hosted by the Cash Money crew. Next, Brown and Bow Wow popped up at Meatpacking club SL -- but were turned away by security. "They showed up with a huge entourage all trying to get in, but they were totally denied at the door," a spy tells Page Six. The rejected posse finally found refuge at Greenhouse, where they partied with Brandy and her brother Ray J into the wee hours.

People are saying yes. Supposedly this is the reason she dropped out of Tyler Perry's latest movie, an adaptation of Ntozake Shange's 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf, less than a week before filming was to begin.



"I said, 'What? You're kidding me?,' " Perry writes in a lighthearted new letter to his fans. "It's five days before she has to go to work; nobody does that. We have a deal."

Jetting back to Atlanta where the movie is filming, he selected Thandie Newton to fill Carey's role. (She will join Whoopi Goldberg, Kerry Washington and Janet Jackson in the cast.) Perry also discovered that the singer's doctor was to blame for her sudden departure.

"I was told that we got a call, saying that even though our deal was done, she had been advised by her doctor not to do the film," Perry writes. "I said, 'What? You know I want a doctor's note, don't you? LOL."

As pregnancy rumors surround Carey, her would-be director won't buy into any speculation. "All I know," he writes, "is that I’m waiting just like the rest of the world to find out what happened."

NO PRESSURE FROM HOV

The NY Daily News reports that it's not Hov that will be wooing LeBron to the Nets.

"That's his decision," Hov tells "Rolling Stone." "We're friends - we've still gotta hang out! I don't want to convince somebody to do something, then have to see him and say, 'Uh, yeah, we're 4-30 ...sorry.'"

Recruiting the NBA's reigning two-time MVP is instead up to new Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov - and Jay-Z thinks the deep-pocketed Russian is up to the task. The pair first met at the posh Four Seasons hotel in midtown Manhattan, and the rapper recalls he was duly impressed by the multibillionaire oligarch.

"I'd been staying there for 10 years, and I always thought I was at the top level," Jay-Z said. "But when I met Prokhorov, they took me up to this extra, extra room that I had never even heard of before.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom laughed off reports after practice on Wednesday that his wife Khloe Kardashian is two months pregnant -- although he stopped short of denying them completely.

"I can't confirm that," said Odom, smiling. "I don't think so." The report, which first appeared Tuesday on Radar Online, stated Kardashian wanted to keep the announcement secret until it could be announced on their show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."

Odom, however, said that wasn't the case. "She hasn't told me if she was pregnant," he said. "I probably would be the first to know."

After months of reports that ATL Housewife NeNe Leakes and her sugar hubby Greg Leakes were headed for splitsville, the two are indeed headed for divorce.

An audio tape of Greg was recently leaked on LargeFM.com. In the audio, Greg is heard viciously bashing his wife NeNe.

Apparently Greg borrowed some money from one of the radio show hosts Corey King. The money helped their house out of foreclosure. Greg however began avoiding Corey when he couldn’t pay him back. This led to Corey calling Greg and secretly taping their convo out of revenge. The conversation was then leaked online.

Greg says that he'll be divorcing NeNe because fame has gone to her head and fake nose. Greg says, “I put $300,000 of my own money for [NeNe] to become a housewife. Without that, she wouldn’t be sh*t . . . She’s going to give me every dime of my $300,000 back." Greg also intends to seek spousal support from Nene, who makes more money than him via her paychecks from Bravo. Greg also called in to Kandi Burrus' internet radio show this week and confirmed it was him on the tape.

A Houston mansion owned by rapper Chamillionaire was repossessed by the bank recently after the place went into foreclosure — but according to the rapper, it was all part of a calculated business decision. TMZ has learned Chamillionaire lost the 7,583 sq. foot home — which he picked up for roughly $2 million back in 2006 — after failing to make several payments.

But, yesterday in New York we spoke with Chamillionaire — real name Hakeem Seriki — who told us he “decided to let that house go” because the real estate market had turned and the house had become a bad investment.

Chamillionaire also noted that he was never at the home because, “I was always on the road touring” adding, “I just didn’t feel like it was a good business investment to pay that much mortgage for a house I was never at.”

But Chamillionaire claims he’s far from broke — quipping, “I still got all the cars.”

What the Sam Hill? Come to find out Gary Coleman and his "wife" Shannon Price were secretly divorced in 2008, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Yet, she pulled the plug on him quicker than you can bat an eye.

Shannan pulled the plug on the ailing child actor last Friday because she didn't want him to end up like Parkinson's-stricken Muhammad Ali or late coma patient Terri Schiavo.

"[The doctors] said even if they did take a chunk out of his brain, he would not be the same. He would be basically like Muhammed Ali," Shannon Price said in a video shot the day after Coleman's death and posted on TMZ.com.

"And he would have died sooner or later anyway from that," she continued.

"I don't want people to be so hard on me, thinking I had to pull the plug too early. He wouldn't have made it anyway. His heart would have just given out."

"I don't want people to sit there and think I'm a bitch, and that I didn't care about him," she said.

"Be in my situation. I mean, look what happened with Terri Schiavo. I always think of her case, always, when it comes to this. Gary was gone."

Blanche Devereaux on the hit sitcom, died Thursday of a massive stroke at age 76, People.com reported.

The Emmy Award-winning actress was a breast cancer survivor who had been in shaky health. While recovering from bypass surgery, she suffered a minor stroke earlier this year.

The death of the scene-stealing actress leaves Betty White the last surviving member of "The Golden Girls," which ran on NBC from 1985 to 1992 and remains in syndication.

DAMON DASH HAS GOT BABY MAMA DRAMA

Linda Williams is suing her ex Damon Dash for $1 million in compensatory damages, claiming that he harassed their son, Damon 2nd, and lied to the NYPD. In court papers that surfaced on Tuesday, Williams' attorneys claim that Damon "threatened" their son after he found the 17-year-old deejaying in an NYC nightclub and then held the teen against his will in his apartment. When Williams then attempted to get a restraining order against her ex, she claims, Dash provided false testimony that she had sent him 10 e-mails earlier that summer, which violated a Family Court protective order. So is Dash going to show her the money? The music mogul, who didn't reply to a request for comment by deadline, conveniently says he's broke.

In court documents unearthed by E! News, the actress has filed for divorce from Mike Nilon, her husband of nearly nine years, citing irreconcilable differences. Back in April, she accused him of cheating on him in a furious email she blasted out to his colleagues at the CAA agency.

The star's email, entitled "Tiger Woods/Jesse James/Mike Nilon," read: "What do they have in common... I found out today that MY husband of almost 9 yrs has been having an affair for 5 yrs with some slut in Chicago. I am devastated!!!! And I have been duped!! Our boys don't deserve this!"

The pair wed in 2001 and have 2-year-old twin sons Jax Joseph and Jaid Thomas.

GARY COLEMAN DIES AT 42

Gary Coleman has died after suffering a brain hemorrhage. He was 42.



Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, where he had been in a coma.

"He was removed from life support; soon thereafter, he passed quickly and peacefully," his manager John Alcantar says. "By Gary’s bedside were his wife and other close family members."

The actor suffered an intracranial hemorrhage at his Utah home on Wednesday night. On Thursday, he was "conscious and lucid," the hospital says in a statement, "but by early afternoon that same day, Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened."

SERENA & COMMON SPLIT

According to UsMagazine, Common and Serena Williams have ended their two-year relationship.

The couple's busy schedules were reportedly to blame for the split.

"They are two workaholics who couldn't see each other enough," a source told the mag. "Things happen."

While speculation has run rampant that she's with child since she married Nick Cannon in 2008, the 41-year-old started further whispers when she was spotted with her hubby outside an L.A. medical clinic this month.

Carey and Cannon, who have both talked about wanting to start a family, have neither confirmed nor denied the recent claims.

But Carey's longtime rep Cindi Berger gave a rather cryptic comment Thursday.

"She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to," Berger told Us Weekly. She then insisted to us that she could not "comment any further."

Gary Coleman has suffered a brain hemorrhage

The 42-year-old Diff'rent Strokes star is now unconscious and on life support in a coma. His wife is at his side in the hospital.

"We appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers for speedy recovery," says manager John Alcantar.

The actor hurt his head Wednesday when he fell in his Utah home, and was taken to a local hospital. He was then transferred to the intensive care unit at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. "He's unconscious and on life support at the moment," Alcantar says. "He had a brain hemorrhage and he was lucid but he went unconscious [Thursday] afternoon."

50 LOSES 50 POUNDS

In an effort to do some serious acting, 50 Cent has shed some pounds. He's slim down from 214 to 160lbs.

That in addition to removing his tattoos for his upcoming flicks. He's set to play a cancer-stricken football player in Things Fall Apart, due out next year.

The weight loss is a result a liquid diet and strict exercise regimen for more than two months.

A wedding and a baby are on the way for Alicia Keys, 29, and Swizz Beatz, 31.

Reps for the two report they "are expecting a baby and are engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year."

The announcement comes after the two, together since fall 2008, attended Thursday night's Black Ball in London, which benefits Keys's Keep a Child Alive charity.

"They're very happy," says a friend of the couple.

Swizz is father to Kasseem Jr., 3, and son Prince Nasir, 9, both from previous relationships.

SUGE ARRESTED

Suge was arrested last week for allegedly threatening a person with a gun and was ordered by a judge to temporarily stay away the alleged victim.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson granted Elwood E. Chatman the temporary restraining order Monday that directs that Knight stay at least 100 yards from Chatman and his family.

Chatman represented himself in the civil court filing. A hearing on whether to extend the order is scheduled for June 8.

Suge, 45, was arrested shortly after midnight Thursday on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and for driving on a suspended license. He was released on $65,000 bail.

Suge's attorney has denied his client ever pointed a gun at anyone during a stop at a gas station and said when his client was eventually stopped in Gardena, police never recovered a weapon.

NAS & KELIS FINALLY DONE

Legal documents finalizing the divorce were filed last Friday in L.A. County Superior Court, according to TMZ.com.

Despite their nearly seven-year marriage being over, their drama is not.

In July 2009, a Los Angeles court ordered Nas to pay $44,000 a month in spousal and child support. Several months later, a judge increased these payments to $51,101.

However, Nas claims he can't afford these payments.

LEBRON DENIES RUMORS

Lebron and Gloria James' lawyer has finally answered the accusations that moms Gloria is getting it in with Bron's teammate Delonte West. Supposedly Lebron found out the news right before game 4 of the playoffs and it was the cause of him not playing well after that.

The lawyer fired off a cease and desist letter to the website originally reporting the story and said "no thinking person would believe this story." Don't know about that

According to TMZ:

In the email, Frederick Nance -- attorney for LeBron and Gloria -- says the report is "categorically false and per se defamatory." Nance adds, "No thinking person could possibly believe such rubbish."

The site responded saying it's fishy that it took 4 days for this letter to come and they stand by their source.

Jay-Z and Nick Cannon were spotted leaving the Four Seasons in NYC yesterday. Jay was auctioning off his signed timepiece during the Audemars Piguet and Tony Awards’ after-party.



The NY Post went on to report that Jay-z needs to watch more "Frasier." At Monday night's Audemars Piguet "Time to Give" event he jumped onstage to pump up the bidding on a watch signed by Kelsey Grammer. A spy reports, "Jay-Z accidentally called him Chelsea Grammer. Kelsey was there and just chuckled and shook his head." But the rapper's efforts didn't go to waste: a Jay-Z-designed and signed watch went for $220,000.

MORE MONEY FOR MASHONDA

The NY Post reports that Swizz Beatz and his ex-wife are heading back to court.

In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Mashonda Dean says the man who officially became her ex-husband two weeks ago already owes her $334,000 in missed payments

"I so much wanted both of us to get on with our lives and maintain our respect for one another, but he now shows that his priorities and sense of responsibility are screwed up," Mashonda said.

Mashonda's lawyer, Bernard Clair, called the nonpayment "particularly troubling" because of reports that Beatz bought a seven-carat engagement ring for Keys earlier this year and that they're moving into a $14.5 million duplex penthouse on Crosby Street.

Beatz told The Post his ex's allegations that he owes $325,000 in equitable distribution and $9,000 in alimony and child support are "inaccurate" and "overblown," and said that he's gone "above and beyond" to provide for her and their son, Kasseem Jr., 13.

He said he'd agreed to pay Mashonda more than the judge required and much more than his lawyer recommended -- he even had to sign court papers acknowledging that he was going against his attorney's advice.

"I gave over what the judge was recommending to give. I gave her $700,000 up front, because I thought $200,000 wasn't enough for what she wanted to do. I still get spit in my face for it," he said.

He suggested that the subsequent payments had been ready to go when he discovered "she'd been selling all my stuff out of my house."

Clair said the only items his client sold were some remote-controlled vehicles the producer had left behind after movers took out his belongings."

The two sides are due back in court next month.

Swizz will reportedly tie the knot with Alicia Keys this summer.

To everyone, again, I cannot stress this enough, thank you so, so much for the support. My spirits are sky high thanks to you all. It makes the day pass faster knowing people out there care about you and want you to do well. I pray the letters keep coming in at the volume they are right now, especially the overseas ones. They let me know life still does move on, even if I forget at times. I just ask that you all keep the letters to one page. And keep sending the pictures, too. Some of you are talented beyond belief with the drawings and paintings.

For concertgoers at Metro Park in Jacksonville, Fla., on Friday, the hottest ticket at the annual Funk Fest wasn't the performance by '90s girl group SWV or the line for fruity refreshments as temperatures climbed into the 90s. It was watching singer Bobby Brown propose to his girlfriend of nearly three years, manager Alicia Etheridge.

Etheridge joined Brown on stage, holding their 11-month-old son Cassius, he got down on one knee and presented her with a ring. The crowd roared its approval as a beaming Etheridge kissed Brown, who remained kneeling.

Brown had a troubled 15-year marriage to Whitney Houston.

LAWRENCE TAYLOR ARRESTED FOR RAPE

Ex football player Lawrence Taylor has been accused of rapping a 15 year-old.

Taylor admitted paying the underage hooker $300 for sex - but he may not have known the girl he's charged with raping is just 16, according to court papers.

The ex-Giant star's appeared in a criminal complaint against pimp Rasheed Davis, who was hit with a sex trafficking charge in Manhattan Federal Court.

Davis beat the teenager before delivering her to Taylor's hotel room early Thursday and told her to tell him "she was 19 years old," the document states.

When Taylor was confronted by cops, he said he "met with a female" that police identified as the teenager. After "engaging in sex acts" LT paid her "$300 in cash."

Ex-wife Maritza Cruz told The Daily News "he always had a lot of no-good and crazy women throwing themselves at him."

"He's definitely no saint," she added. "But I don't believe he would do such a thing. He would have to have been in a crazy state of mind to do something like that, but as far as I know, he's been sober for years."

The hero uncle of the 16-year-old girl allegedly forced to have sex with disgraced Giants great Lawrence Taylor recalled the gut-wretching message he received from his terrified niece Saturday night.

"Tio, help me! help me!" he said the girl texted him. "She said, 'This guy is forcing me to do this. He hit me. He abused me.'"

The runaway teen had text-messaged the uncle on her way to the Holiday Inn in Montebello, N.Y., after she was allegedly beaten by her pimp, Rasheed Davis, and pressured into having sex with the 51-year-old Hall of Famer early Thursday morning, the uncle said.

The uncle, whose name The News is withholding, dialed 911 and cops were waiting for Davis, 36, when they returned to his Bronx home, where he lives with his mother.

"She just wanted to get out of the situation," her uncle said. "She said she's not the type of person to be doing this.

"I feel happy that I saved her life," he said. "It's heartbreaking."

The young girl moved in with Davis after he found her at a bus stop on Boston Post Road, four weeks after she ran away from home in March.

The ex-linebacker admitted to paying $300 for sex with the girl but said he didn't know she was underage, court papers show.

Davis - who was released from prison in 2008 after serving 15 years for manslaughter - allegedly brought the girl to Taylor's hotel room and told her to say she was 19 years old, prosecutors said.

The uncle said the teen didn't recognize her john.

"She never knew that he was a football player," he said.

"It's been very stressful," the uncle said of the past few days. "I can't sleep."

GABRIELLE UNION SUED

The NY Daily News reports that Dwyane Wade's bitter divorce battle from Siohvaughn Funches has become a whole lot messier.

The estranged wife of the NBA star is seeking $50,000 in damages against his new girlfriend, actress Gabrielle Union, whom she alleges has caused her two children emotional distress.

Funches claims the actress "engaged in sexual foreplay" with Wade in front of his sons, Zaire, 8, and Zion, 2, while on an unsupervised visit to his Miami home, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The suit also alleges that Wade's oldest son was allowed to play unsupervised in or around the Miami home's pool at night. Wade and Union allegedly ignored the child, whose "screams and cries" eventually caught the attention of Wade's mother, Jolinda Wade.

In addition, the suit claims the younger son nearly drowned while in Wade's care.

Wade allegedly orchestrated a meeting between Union and his children, where he introduced her as his "girlfriend" and said "that is why your mom and I are going to divorce," according to the suit.

Funches claims Union's "extreme and outrageous conduct" with Wade has caused her oldest son to seek medical treatment for stress and anxiety, as well as develop nervous habits, headaches and hair loss.

Wade, 28, recently filed for sole custody of the couple's two sons, a move which reportedly prompted Funches to add Union to the lawsuit, reports Gossip Cop.

He says he is "shocked" by the "baseless and meritless" lawsuit filed by his ex.

"I am deeply saddened and disappointed that Siohvaughn has used our sons once again as pawns and is now lashing out at Gabrielle, who is an innocent party," Wade tells TMZ.com. "It is clear that this is a desperate attempt to retaliate against me for seeking sole custody of our children and requesting that the court have her undergo a psychiatric examination."

He adds, "My primary concern is my children and actions such as this only inflame the situation and are harmful to their well being."

A rep for Union, 37, also denies the claims, saying, "Each and every allegation made is entirely false."

"These false accusations were previously made approximately one month ago in family court. Not only was Ms. Union not named a defendant at that time but the court ultimately rejected these claims as frivolous," the rep added. "Gabrielle apologizes to the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois for tying them up with erroneous claims when there are real victims who should be receiving the legal attention they need."

GV Says: I like Gabby, but I have been saying from the very beginning that her relationship with D. Wade is just flagrant. At the end of the day this man is married.
