A paternity test has confirmed that Mathew Knowles, 58, is the father of Alexsandra Wright's new baby boy, Nixon TMZ reports. The baby's half-sisters Beyoncé and Solange are 29 and 24, respectively.

The news comes after the elder Knowles initially had no comment about claims that he fathered a child with Wright, an actress, who said they had an 18-month affair with Knowles and filed a paternity suit last October.

Despite an online report that the singer is pregnant, Beyoncé's rep say the story is "not true."

In the past, Knowles, 28, has spoken about her desire to start a family with her husband, 40. "I hope that those things will just happen naturally," she told Allure magazine for its February issue.

The pair, who were married in a secret ceremony, celebrate their second anniversary April 4.

Five months before their July 17th wedding, model/actress Eva Marcille, 25, and actor Lance Gross, 28, have split up. When ESSENCE.com reached out to the couple’s representatives for confirmation about the break-up we were given this official joint statement.

“Lance Gross and Eva Marcille have mutually decided to end their relationship. The split is completely amicable,” the statement reads.

Last month the blogosphere buzzed that Marcille and Gross, who had been together for nearly three years, were on the rocks, due to an alleged argument between the two during Super Bowl XLIV weekend in Miami.

The couple got engaged on Christmas Eve 2008, while vacationing with family in the San Bernardino Mountains outside of Los Angeles, after dating for a year and a half. The couple announced their engagement to ESSENCE.com.

Shaunie O'Neal recently sat down and did an exclusive interview with Essence Magazine and finally sets the record straight on what really brought about the demise of her marriage.

Excerpts below…

Shaunie on when things started to go bad in her marriage: [Shaq was traded to the Miami Heat] “Miami is a great city. It just wasn’t a great city for our marriage. I know they say L.A. has its groupies, but Miami has a different mentality. Even going to the games, the whole environment is so different. Girls are practically sitting in their bra and panties in the arena. When you’re trying to keep your husband, that’s a lot to take. It was a whole new lifestyle I wasn’t ready for. Apparently we didn’t have a strong enough foundation for Shaq to withstand that type of temptation.”

Shaunie on finally confronting Shaq about the infidelity rumors: “He would deny it sometimes, and other times he would ask, ‘You got pictures? Video? If not, don’t come at me because you have no proof.’ “He’d say, ‘Okay, you’re mad. Now what? You’re not going anywhere.’

Shaunie on being accused of cheating on Shaq with her personal trainer: “I worked out at home- with my trainer, my sister, her husband and my girlfriend. I was a good girl. I wouldn’t even entertain a man flirting with me. I was that conservative. But when those rumors came out, I felt I was so small and Shaq was so big that it didn’t matter what I said; nobody was going to believe me. All I was thinking was, How could this happen to me? I had no idea how I was going to pick up the pieces. I was just done.”

Shaunie on the state of her relationship with Shaq today: “We are becoming friends, and it’s nice because it’s something we really lacked in our marriage. I enjoy being able to talk openly to him, and I think we both learned a lot from each other during this time.”

50 CEN'TS BODYGUARD ASSAULTS PAPS

One of 50 Cent's bodyguards has been arrested after assaulting a group of photographers who were waiting outside the rapper's Copenhagen hotel.

"I feared for my life," photographer Nikoloj Vraar told RadarOnline.

"One of 50 Cent's bodyguards came out and told us to leave. The next thing I knew, he grabs my throat and tried to strangle me."

"He cut off my airway, and I couldn't breathe," he added. "He took my camera and deleted photos."

Danish police did not released the bodyguard's name but confirmed he worked for the bad boy rapper and has been charged with assaulting two photographers.

"The bodyguard was arrested," said Vraar, who is editor-in-chief for MSN Star Lounge.

He was taken to Copenhagen hospital to be checked out by doctors and said his next stop would be the police precinct.

"I will be going straight to the police station and complete whatever paperwork is necessary."

NENE'S SON ARRESTED

Bryson Bryant, the eldest son of NeNe Leakes, was arrested on a minor marijuana possession charge and was put in an Atlanta-area jail on March 7. Bryant has appeared on the Bravo reality show — and, in the first season, was filmed looking at colleges with Leakes.

On Wednesday, Leakes released a statement, calling her son’s arrest a “family issue.”

“Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson,” she said in the statement. “Certainly, my husband and I will deal with this family issue in a private manner. My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won’t be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse. I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And as I’ve tweeted, tough love was in order. Still, I ask that you respect our privacy during this trying time.”

But Leakes didn’t just stop there. Earlier that day, she also Tweeted about the incident. “Morning! I know my parenting job is NEVER DONE but TOUGH LOVE is ordered by the JUDGE! The judge [in] this case is ME,” she Tweeted. “My head is up & held high this morning because I KNOW the parent that i’am! U hate 4 yo kids 2 make mistakes! TOUGH LOVE this morning.”
