SCOTT STORCH SURFACES

So after getting hit with grand theft auto, producer Scott Storch has surfaced and revealed that his recent problems have all been the result of a cocaine addicion.

“I found myself slipping a little bit,” he said with a very anxious look on his face. “I got involved in doing drugs. I had to get myself into recovery. Being in the life that I was living — very fast-moving, option to do anything you want, go anywhere you wanna go — it definitely takes its toll on you, and you lose your concept of reality. I had to get it under control. I had to take it back to the beginning and back to the Hit Factory, where I made a lot of my hits.

“Just taking it day by day,” the producer said of his life now. “I haven’t won the war. It’s not like something you can just fix and it’s just gone. Addiction is a disease, and I have to constantly battle it. I feel so much better and have more clarity, especially in the studio. It’s cool. It’s been a really productive period. … With the help of my publisher TVT, I’ve had the chance to woodshed and come up with a whole new vibe. I’m very happy right now.”

SCOTT STORCH ARRESTED

Scott Storch was apprehended by police in Miami on Friday and charged with grand theft auto. The producer posted an undisclosed amount for his bond soon after.

According to the public police report, Storch was leasing a 2004 Bentley GT in February 2006, with a return date of March 2008. The owners of the vehicle, Atlas Leasing Company, are alleging that Storch failed to comply with the terms of their leasing agreement.

Atlas Leasing also claims the producer's negligence has cost the company $65,000 in revenue that could have been accruing from other clients for the Bentley.

The producer's lawyer, Bradford M. Cohen, said in a statement, "We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge," it reads. "There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrong doing on behalf of my client."

Storch has had a slew of legal and financial troubles in the past year or so. In June 2008, he failed to show for a child-support hearing where he was accused of being behind in his payments. Storch was also way behind on paying his property taxes, owing the government $500,000 which resulted in having his $10 million Miami mansion foreclosed on.

GV Says: I guess fame and fortune are not always enough.

SCOTT STORCH IN MORE LEGAL TROUBLE

Producer Scott Storch is in a heap of trouble.

Storch, who owns a $10.5 million home on Miami Beach's Palm Island, is behind in property taxes -- $511,839.16. He owes $294,492.50 for '06, and $217,346.66 for '07.

And if that wasn't enough - Storch, 34 - is in arrears on child support for son Jalen, 2, and was a no-show at a hearing. So Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Marc Schumacher did exactly what he should have and issued a pick-up order, authorizing cops to jail Storch's butt until he can be brought to court.

''You are hereby commanded to take into your custody Scott Spencer Storch,'' says the order, known as a ''writ of bodily attachment.'' No word on his whereabouts.

Storch can be released -- if he posts a $46,000 bond. He owes at least that much: $30,000 for four months of support for Jalen, plus $16,000 toward the boy's Florida Prepaid College Plan, says attorney Jason Setchen, who represents Jalen's mom, Dalene Jennifer Daniel. She sued Storch for paternity in '06. Daniel, 31, says Storch has failed to fulfill the terms of their mediated settlement agreement.

Meanwhile, Storch just got hit with another paternity suit....WTF??? Vanessa Bellido, 33, of Davie, says Storch is the ''natural father'' of her son Steven Brandon Bellido, 16.

Storch acknowledged he is Steven's dad and voluntarily sent money -- until January, Vanessa says. Now, she says, she and Steven are struggling. They were evicted from their Davie residence last month and had to live with her parents in their two-bedroom apartment in Plantation.

''While [Storch] drives around in his Ferrari and Cadillac, [Steven] is sleeping on a couch in the same room with his mother,'' says her emergency petition for child support, filed by attorney Paul Leinoff. "The situation is dire.''

Steven's car, bought by Storch has been repossessed. Vanessa says Storch ''agreed to be financially responsible'' for Steven's education at American Academy at American Heritage School in Plantation, where the teen just finished 10th grade. But Storch still owes $5,000 for tuition, putting Steven's junior year ''in jeopardy,'' Vanessa says in court documents.
Storch ''should be required to pay the monthly rent, private school and child support,'' her emergency motion says.

Storch's lawyer, Guy Spiegelman, says Storch is refinancing his home and trying to resolve his financial commitments. ''He intends to honor all of his obligations,'' Spiegelman says. "He was a victim of mismanagement of his business enterprises, resulting in his current predicament.''
GV Says: Whatever Scott. Pay your bills. You overcharge all these artists for tracks yet you can't handle your business. Recklessly creating babies and failing to support them. Jail is exactly where he needs to be. He should be embarrassed to have his personal life put out there like that.

SCOTT STORCH WITH MONEY WOES?

So producer Scott Storch is back in the news. Recently he put his yacht on the market via ebay....WTF....fueling rumors that his estate is in financial distress.

According to TMZ, Storch allegedly paid $20 million on the boat and is now hocking it on ebay for $600,000. On the ebay posting it says the reason for the rock bottom asking price is because the "owner bought her and got short on money."

Though he rakes in millions every year and has made beats for the likes of Lil' Wayne, Fat Joe, 50 Cent, Beyonce and other hit-making artists, this isn't the first time his finances have come into question.

Back in January of '06, Storch's baby's mom, Dalene Daniel, took him to court, claiming he was two months behind on $7,500 a month child support payments. She also said the producer was "habitually late" in paying child support, and has bounced checks.

Around the same time, The New York Post printed a story saying Storch owed $435,602 in back taxes on his house in Miami and that he also never paid for a $7,500 painting he had on display in his home, prompting the Miami gallery owner to reclaim the art.
Scott....you are ridiculous. Get your money straight!! Yet another example of someone who doesn't need money.

SCOTT STORCH A DEAD BEAT?

Is Scott Storch a dead beat dad? Let his baby mama tell it.

TMZ obtained documents from Miami-Dade County Court, charging that Storch is behind in his $7,500 per month support payment for, Jalen, who turns two in April.According to Dalene Daniel, Storch missed last month's payment and this month's as well. She claims he's been "habitually late" in paying support, even bouncing checks. And to add the ultimate insult, her bank charges her $20 when his electronic funds don't come through. And here's the deal; Scott is considered one of the most successful music producers. Forbes estimates his 2006 income at $17 mil -- that's $1.4 million a month!

SCOTT STORCH ON HARD TIMES?

Could music producer Scott Storch's cash flow be running low? One Florida insider told Page Six Storch's credit cards were recently declined at a Miami club.

"He's had to pay cash for everything," said the source. In 2006, Rolling Stone reported that Storch , who has worked with 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé, was worth $70 million. But by August 2007, Forbes had that number down to $17 million, and we've reported on Storch's panache for covering lady friends like Lindsay Lohan in expensive diamond jewelry.

SCOTT STORCH GETS PUNKED

Scott Storch gets punked. Looks like the super producer got pranked by a caller claiming to be a beau of Brooke Hogan and accusing Storch of having an affair with his woman.

Instead of getting greasy, Storch - who admittedly dates "Puerto Rican mamis and sisters" - went straight for the big dogs and called Hulk Hogan himself to end the madness.

Listen HERE
Scott really should screen his calls.
