Looks like Alicia & Swizz are shaking those haters off...



The two were spotted partying it up with her brother, Alejandro Sanz, a few weeks ago in Miami.

Seems these two have chosen to ignore rumors that AKeys was the demise Swizz' marriage to Mashonda.

ALICIA KEYS NOT TO BLAME ACCORDING TO SWIZZ

Looks like the ish is hitting the fan in the Beatz household. I've tried to stay away from this rumor because I initially thought it was simply untrue....but where there's smoke there's usually fire. And according to estranged wife Mashonda, Alicia Keys is starting the fire.


The NY Daily News reports:

Alicia Keys could be named as "the other woman" in the divorce of hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz and R&B singer Mashonda, sources tell us.

Swizz has been brushing off rumors that Grammy-winner Alicia had anything to do with his split from Mashonda, his wife of almost five years and mother of his 1-year-old son, Kasseem Dean Jr.

But Mashonda isn't buying it. Last week, she was incensed when she heard about the birthday party Alicia threw for Swizz at midtown's Louis Vuitton store, where guests included Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Robin Thicke.

"Alicia introduced Swizz as 'The man of the hour and my boo,'" says an insider.

"Mashonda has had enough. She put her career on hold to be a wife and mother. She's tired of pretending she's deaf, dumb and blind to what's going on. She can't believe how disrespectful Alicia is being."

Word that Swizz and Mashonda were separating came in April in a statement issued by a rep for the couple.

A friend of Mashonda argues, "That was his announcement. She got sucked into it. She thought they were trying to put their marriage back together. Meanwhile, he's apparently been telling Alicia that his marriage was over."

Though he accompanied Alicia on her European tour last summer, Swizz has continued to live, off and on, with Mashonda and Kasseem Jr. at their Westchester mansion, says a friend.

Mashonda is said to have exploded when she found a flirty e-mail from Alicia on Swizz's BlackBerry. According to sources, she fired back a reply, reminding the singer he was still her husband.

Mashonda has now hired powerhouse matrimonial lawyer Bernard Clair.

"This could have been handled quietly," said a friend. "But now Mashonda has taken the gloves off."

A friend of Swizz said, "His relationship with Alicia began after their separation. He hasn't kept it a secret. He still has great love for Mashonda and has promised to take care of her and their son and support her career."

Swizz issued this statement to US magazine:


"I can no longer ignore the harmful rumors, that my friend Alicia Keys is in any way linked to my marital circumstances or to the decision that [my wife] Mashonda and I have made to separate," Beatz tells Us.

"I am disappointed that some have chosen to try and tarnish Alicia's reputation by irresponsibly implicating her in a situation that she has absolutely nothing to do with," Beatz, a father of two, says.

SWIZZ BEATZ FIRES BACK

Sounds like Swizz is growing a little weary of the rumor mill suggesting that his break up with wife Mashonda is because a relationship with Alicia Keys.

"Everybody can have their fun right now talking that dumb sh-- about my divorce and all that," he said. "I'mma give them something to talk about. People get divorced every f---in' day. They need to worry about more serious things."

"It ain't even bad," he said, more agitated. "My divorce, it ain't nothing bad. It's just us moving on. Me and Shonda are super good. It is what it is. [The press] are nine months late on the situation. It's a headache to me. We been separated nine or 10 months already."

Swizz's ire was raised in particular by recent headlines on the front pages of Hip Hop Weekly and MediaTakeout.com.

"That sh-- just looks like drama," he said. "They got another big name involved. No, I'm not doing [any] f---ing interviews. Only thing I'm commenting on is music-related. I don't comment on my personal life. Why start now? You start commenting on that sh--, then they start twisting it out. I'm not gonna speak about nothing. They [gave Mashonda] two pages in Hip Hop Weekly. She didn't even say nothing about Alicia. They blew it up on MediaTakeout.com. They flipped that into some other sh--.

"I'm not hiding anything," he added. "I can see if I was hiding something. I'm a grown man. Nobody is living no perfect life. Mashonda has a single coming out that I funded, photo shoots that I funded. We made our statement that we're still working together. They didn't wanna believe it. I said I would be continuing to support her career. Nobody wants to look at that sh--. They wanna look at 'Alicia Keys.' That sh-- is ignorant."

SWIZZ BEATZ & MASHONDA SPLIT

Rapper/producer Swizz Beatz and wife/ singer Mashonda have called it quits after four years of marriage.

Swizz and Mashonda were married in 2004 and have a son, Kassem Jr., who was born in January 2007. A representative for Swizz Beatz didn’t specify the reason for the separation, but stated the split was “on amicable terms.”

“Their union was one shared in love and deep admiration for one another. For the last seven months, the two have been working on establishing a formidable friendship, being great parents to their son, and remaining great supporters of each other's careers. ”

Wow.....I hate this for them. I liked them as a couple. I thought they would be the couple to last.....sad.
