FOXY BROWN SENTENCED

New York criminal judge sentenced rapper Foxy Brown to one year in jail on Friday (September 7) for violating her probation multiple times, according to a New York spokesperson for the Department of Probation. The troubled, pregnant rapper received the maximum penalty.


Brown , born Inga Marchand, had been in custody at the all-women Rose M. Singer Center at Rikers Island prison since August 22. She was ordered there after violating her probation in two separate incidents. The violation stems from two separate incidents, Ryan confirmed: Brown's recent arrest for allegedly assaulting her neighbor with a BlackBerry cell phone and for leaving the jurisdiction of New York without court permission.

In a separate hearing earlier in the day, Brown was indicted on assault charges stemming from the physical encounter with her neighbor.

USHER SELLING BACHELOR PAD

The House of Usher is for sale.

He is asking $1.95 million for his 5-bedroom, 4½-bathroom, gray stucco home in metro Atlanta's Country Club of the South gated community, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

"This house has a lot of musical history," says Lisa Robinson, the real-estate agent for the property, which also contains a hair salon, exercise room, swimming pool, guesthouse and, naturally, a recording studio – and also once belonged to music producer Antonio "L.A." Reid, CEO of Def Jam records.

"[Usher] upgraded the master suite, and totally redesigned and renovated the terrace level," Robinson told People mag. "That level has [the] hair salon, a gym and a state-of-the-art movie theater."

Reid formerly used the house as the headquarters for his label, LaFace Records, making it the professional home of Jermaine Dupri, Dallas Austin and TLC, among others.

SHAQ FILES FOR DIVORCE

After nearly five years of marriage and four children together, Shaquille O'Neal filed for divorce from his wife Shaunie in Miami on Tuesday (September 4).



"The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," reads the petition, which was filed by O'Neal's lawyer, Ira Elegant, in Miami-Dade Circuit Court on Tuesday. It is not known who is representing Shaunie, according to The Miami Herald.

The petition reveals that the couple has a prenuptial agreement, according to the Herald, which also reports that should the court agree, a copy of the agreement "will be filed ... under seal."

The agreement "contains extensive provisions providing for confidentiality and non-disclosure." O'Neal also says in the petition that Shaunie has been "secretive about her assets ... particularly with respect to certain properties owned or titled in either [her] name alone or in other entities" and requests that the court require Shaunie to give a "correct accounting of all money, funds, stocks, bonds, and other securities (including bearer securities)" acquired during the marriage.

Neither Shaq nor the Heat responded to requests for comment, the Herald reports. The basketball star makes $20 million a year playing for the Heat, and nets even more through lucrative endorsement deals thought to be worth millions every year. The couple's home – on Miami Beach's exclusive Star Island – is up for sale for $32 million, according to the Associated Press.

Shaq married his then-longtime girlfriend Shaunie Nelson on Dec. 26, 2002, in a lavish, top-secret ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The couple have four children together: Shareef, 7, Amirah, 5, Shaqir, 4, and Me'Arah, 1. Shaq, 35, also has a daughter, Taahirah, from an earlier relationship and Shaunie, 32, has a son, Myles.

HALLE BERRY IS FINALLY PREGNANT

Halle Berry has confirmed that she is expecting her first child.

"Yes, I am three months pregnant," the Oscar winner told Access Hollywood on Tuesday. "Gabriel and I are beyond excited and I've waited a long time for this moment in my life."

Berry, 41, and her boyfriend, 32-year-old model Gabriel Aubry, met shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles in November 2005 and first stepped out publicly three months later at the February opening of a Versace boutique in New York City. Earlier this year, Berry told InStyle, "I definitely want children. Very much."

When asked about marriage, Berry, who has been married twice, told the magazine that she had no plans to tie the knot again. "I will never, never get married again," she said. "Actually, it's just that now I've come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper."

LIL KIM PULLED OVER

So it seems the Queen Bee was pulled over by police at around 6 p.m. on Thursday (August 30) as she was entering a gas station. When asked by cops why she did not have her driver's license with her, the rapper said she mistakenly left it at home.

TMZ recently revealed that Kim was lying, stating that the rapper does not possess a driver's license at all. In addition, Kim also told police the car, which was a gift from her boyfriend, recently arrived from California, and according to Kim, cars do not need to display plates in Cali.

TMZ also said that after cameras showed up on the scene on Thursday (August 30) the bite-sized rapper became "belligerent, loud and obnoxious," saying that if she was the average person, this wouldn't have been a problem."

It was not revealed whether Kim was issued a ticket for not having plates or a driver's license with her.

USHER AND TAMEKA FINALLY WED

So Usher and Tameka Foster finally pulled off their dream wedding in Atlanta on Saturday.

"I'm thrilled that this is finally happening," said one guest, who watched the couple exchange vows in front of about 200 people at the luxurious Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, a 16th-century-style French chateau set on 3,500 acres of rolling hills outside Atlanta. "It was a long time coming, and I can't think of any two people who deserve happiness more than they do."

Among the guests were Oprah Winfrey's pal Gayle King and music manager Benny Medina.

Usher's mother, Jonetta Patton, who has reportedly clashed with Foster, did not attend….whoa!

The guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner inside the resort's ballroom. Dessert was a five-tiered white chocolate-covered wedding cake with handmade flowers by Napa's Perfect Endings, who recently did Eva Longoria's wedding cake.

"They are in love and they wanted this to be perfect," says another guest of the event, planned by wedding planner Diann Valentine. "They had their reasons for not getting married (before), and that's their own business. Now they could get things done the way they wanted to, their family and friends can be here now."

Usher was pictured above leaving the Ellen DeGeneres show. He told the talk show host, "I want it to be a boy."
