After postponing a string of tour dates because of "migraines" earlier this month, Janet Jackson is back – and thanking fans for their support.
"I want to thank you for all your messages and all your love and support when I wasn't feeling very well," the singer said in a YouTube video shot by her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri before her show in Houston Tuesday. "I'm a lot better now."
Jackson, 42, also showed her silly side: After pretending to put rouge on Dupri's cheek as he sat in her makeup chair, she dismissed rumors that the two had split.
"Baby, they say you broke up with me because I threw up on you," a laughing Dupri said as he held the camera.
"How lame is that?" Jackson deadpanned. "Because you threw up on me ... Well, there's no real love there, is it?"

Was Katt having a diva moment? According to the rumor mill....
"Katt was disrespectful, difficult and demanding throughout the process and his unprovoked verbal lashing on the producer was unwarranted," a source close to the production is quoted as saying.
Allegedly, the squabble started when Williams rolled up to the set three hours late in an RV he was driving himself. A producer greeted him and wanted to escort him into the rehearsal.
"He hopped out of his RV and went into a 'do you know who I am' rant," the source told Murray. "He was angry and wanted to know who called the union on him, because there had been an issue with Katt's camp trying to over-schedule the backup dancers."
Murray continues: "Apparently the Ohio-bred star of 'First Sunday' then went into rehearsal and acted as though nothing was wrong, but moments later abruptly stopped rehearsal and declared: 'Someone owes me an apology. I'm sorry, I can't go on without an apology.' BET brass scrambled to resolve the situation.
"Williams lined up his entire staff and demanded that the network or someone from Cosette Productions have the unsuspecting producer apologize to each of them. Said producer refused, standing by the fact that Williams' attack on her was unprovoked and superfluous.
"The 'Friday After Next' star, who hosted two previous BET Hip-Hop Awards, then left the rehearsal and refused to return until an apology was ready to be issued.
When it was determined that Williams had no intention to return for rehearsals the day before the show, producers then had to salvage the show and find a replacement host.
The call went out to T-Pain at 1 a.m. the morning of the show to fill the slot and the vocoder-loving singer went into cram mode to prepare for that evening."
Meanwhile, BET's official reason for replacing Williams with T-Pain was posted on their Web site – which states Williams gave up his hosting gig after losing a break dance competition with T-Pain.
The BET Hip-Hop Awards airs tonight at 8.
50 GETS VISITATIONS
During a hearing, which lasted less than five minutes, a judge granted 50 Cent one weekend visit a month with his son Marquise, who will also spend half of his school's winter and spring breaks with his father.
"50 is pleased this has been settled and looks forward to spending some quality time with his son," the rapper's attorney Brett Kimmel reports.
"We came to an agreement," Tompkins told People after the hearing. "Despite my feelings for his father, I want Marquise and his father to have a healthy relationship. That's what that time is for."
The former couple had been in a heated custody dispute following the May 30 fire that destroyed a Long Island home owned by Jackson and inhabited by Tompkins and their son. Tompkins publicly blamed Jackson for starting the blaze in the midst of his attempts to evict her. 50 denied the allegation and in June filed a $20 million defamation lawsuit against her.
LYFE JENNINGS IN A BIT OF TROUBLE
So it seems Lyfe Jennings got into a little trouble recently.
TMZ reports:
Smyrna, Ga. police tell us they were responding to a gunshots fired call when they spotted Jennings' Vette hightailing it away from the scene. A chase ensued and Jennings eventually crashed. He was charged with felony weapon possession by a convicted felon and he faces charges of attempting to elude, as well as discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusing to take the sobriety test.
Lyfe -- real name Chester -- was in prison from 1992-2002 after being convicted of arson.

WAYNE'S ASSISTANT SPILLS THE BEANS
Lil Wayne’s assistant, Terry Bourgeois, testified in a New York court today (October 20) that he occasionally saw a handgun and people smoking marijuana in the rapper’s tour bus. As reported earlier, Lil Wayne was arrested on a weapons possession charge last July after a 9mm was found in his tour bus following a performance with Ja Rule at Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre. A police officer testified last month she saw Lil Wayne trying to hidea gun when she boarded the bus but Bourgeois testified Monday that he never saw Lil Wayne with a gun on the night of his arrest. He also said he didn’t know whether a gun was on the bus. Wayne, who appeared at the hearing, has pleaded not guilty to the gun charges. He faces to three and a half years in prison if convicted. The case will resume in December.

BRANDY STILL HAUNTED BY ACCIDENT
In a interview with Ryan Seacrest, Brandy revealed that she continues to deal with the pain of knowing that her role in a freeway car accident took the life of another human being in December 2006.
The singer escaped vehicular manslaughter charges over the collision, which killed Awatef Aboudihaj almost two years years ago.
"You have to understand that you don't intend for things like that to happen; it's an accident... and that's how you get through things like that.
"I prayed a lot and I had great people around me to help me up and lift my spirits and I got through it... but I don't even think that I'm all the way over it. I don't think you can ever get over something like that - but I'm able to live my life without feeling the way I did in the beginning. I'm a lot more cautious driving, you don't want anything like that to happen again."
Brandy says the emotional pain she endured in the weeks and months after the crash is evident in her new songs - one new track, "Right Here (Departed)," is a tribute to her friends and family members who stuck by her: "A lot of people can relate to that song because everyone needs someone to be there for them."
OBAMA BASKS IN POWELL SUPPORT
"Whether he wants to take a formal role, whether that's a good fit for him, is something we'd have to discuss," Obama said Monday, a day after Powell, a four-star general and President Bush's former secretary of state, endorsed him.
Powell, a Republican, did not inform Obama of his endorsement before announcing it on NBC's "Meet the Press," Obama told "Today." Powell called Obama a "transformational figure" in the nation's history and expressed disappointment in some of McCain's campaign tactics. But, Powell said, he didn't plan to hit the campaign trail with Obama before the Nov. 4 election.
"I won't lie to you, I would love to have him at any stop," Obama said with a grin Monday. "Obviously, if he wants to show up he's got an open invitation."

Wayne, who had been nominated for 12 awards was named Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year and the Alltel Wireless People's Champ.
T-Pain hosted the event. Word is there may have been a little shouting match between the scheduled host Kat Williams and the execs at BET. T.I. kicked off the show with "What's Up, What's Happening" and later teamed up with Swizz Beatz for "Swing Your Rag." Nas performed "Queens Get the Money" and "Hero," while Young Jeezy gave a high-energy rendition of "Crazy World." DAWN OF DANITY KANE SPEAKS
Surprise, surprise...Dawn speaks on Danity Kane
"We talked about it, and there's a fear we have of losing our fanbase. But at the end of the day, Diddy made his choice to let us decide, and we would like to continue with the name and the group," Dawn told Essence magazine. "This is our lives, and you can't just say no to your dreams. I love working with the group. However, it's so hard to say what will happen. I would prefer that the original group members remain. It's hard enough for fans to follow as is."
In the interview, Richard also addresses the rumors that with two of the members dropped from the group, Diddy has plans to have her go solo. "It's so interesting how the media chooses to interpret or report things. I have never said that I was pursuing a solo deal. I told someone that I have waited so long for my dream, and singing is my dream and has been for so long. I have done nothing on the side as far as solo projects. I'm not sidestepping."
Instead of asking her about solo projects, "Everyone should ask Puff if that's what he has in line for me," she suggested. "If he does, then I'm honored and I will work hard, as I've always done. Who knows what can happen, because Puff changes his mind every five seconds. I'm going to work hard. I'm going to be the same person I was in the beginning."
Although she said she's been supportive of everyone's approaches to the group, Richard couldn't help but notice that others — most notably O'Day — were acting as they pleased. "I have totally been supportive of the group — that's my priority," she said. "We had shows where Aubrey didn't show up, and we had her back and no one wrote about it or said anything.
"Some of the other girls have pursued their interests, and I have sat back and supported them in their individual pursuits," she continued. "It truly hurts my feelings, because I work so hard, and I've been so honest from the beginning. Again, my priority has always been Danity Kane. I've never missed a show or meeting, so it's just interesting how people perceive things. I can only put it in God's hands."
GV Says: I have to say...I think Dawn is sneaky. And you have to wonder why she wasn't up front in working with Diddy on the side. Obviously that was going to create friction. The fact that it wasn't necessarily on a solo project makes no difference. I also don't like the fact that she's trying to throw salt on people. The rest of the members should take note of who to watch. You're foul Dawn!!!
DON CORNELIUS ARRESTED
Say it ain't so...
TMZ reports that Don Cornelius of "Soul Train" fame was arrested last night on felony domestic violence.
It went down on Mulholland Drive in L.A. in the early evening. Someone called from Cornelius' home and LAPD responded to a "domestic dispute." After arriving on scene, they arrested 72-year-old Cornelius on charges of felony domestic violence. He was taken to the LAPD jail in Van Nuys where his bail was set at $50,000. He was released at 5 AM.
Cornelius is married to Victoria although the identity of the victim has not been released. The victim was not taken to the hospital and injuries are unknown.
GV Says: I can honestly say I wouldn't let a 72 year-old man beat me down.....I'm just saying...

Wayne's final words when accepting the award were, "I got a son about to be born any day now, so shout-out to him. Pray for me.""
