LISA RAYE HOLDS ON TO THE DRAMA

Some people just hold grudges and it looks like that's what Lisa Raye is doing. The NY Daily News reports:


Star Jones and Vivica A. Fox may want to take shelter: Their former pal, LisaRaye McCoy, says they did her wrong - and she's going to use her new reality show to prove it.

The actress, who starred in the Will Smith-produced sitcom "All of Us" from 2003 to 2007, says a slew of her celebrity friends abandoned her after her divorce last year from Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick, and she plans to blast them on her still-untitled show.

First up is former "View" co-host Jones, who raised McCoy's ire by supposedly supporting Misick after the divorce. "LisaRaye hosted Star at her home in the Turks & Caicos for three weeks when Star was going through her divorce from Al Reynolds," says a source close to the TV One series. "When the tables turned and McCoy's marriage ended, Star was helping LisaRaye's husband."

That allegedly included counseling Misick and even recommending her personal damage-control publicist to aid him during the messy split.

McCoy says she was also double-crossed by former best friend Fox, who allegedly shared McCoy's most intimate secrets with Misick. "LisaRaye hasn't spoken to Vivica since," said the source.

The list doesn't stop there - in fact, it gets worse. McCoy also counts "106 & Park" host Rosci as an enemy, accusing the BET star of having an illicit affair with Misick. Even McCoy's former TV hubby on "All of Us" has fallen out of favor - McCoy claims actor Duane Martin provided a mistress for her then-husband in an effort to do business on Turks & Caicos.

"LisaRaye intends to use her show as an outlet to air it all," says the source. "She's been quiet until now, but when she starts sharing these stories, it'll make 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' look like a gathering of church ladies."

Star Jones breaks her silence on The View

She tells People:

“Those girls were hateful,” Jones says of her former co-hosts. In a new interview in the November issue of Essence magazine, Jones also opens up about “falling into a depression” after losing her self-titled Court TV show last year; her ongoing dispute with Barbara Walters (“Barbara set me up”); and her divorce from Al Reynolds, which was finalized in September.

Responding directly to Reynolds’s infamous YouTube videos, in which he stated he “still loves” Star, Jones responds bluntly: “I’m not in love with him.” Jones, who laid low after the abrupt cancellation of her Court TV show, is currently in talks to make a non-scripted TV comeback. A sense of renewal she says she gained after spending an Under The Tuscan Sun-style summer at an Italian villa with girlfriends, including Natalie Cole.

According to the rumor mill, Al Reynolds is not a happy camper.

The NY Post reports: "STAR Jones is finally free of her freeloading hubby. Jones and Al Reynolds reached a last-minute settlement yesterday, moments before they were set to appear in court. Reynolds was said to be upset with the airtight prenup he signed, which left him with "basically nothing," sources said - but finally relented to avoid court costs. A rep for Jones said the two "have reached an amicable settlement in their divorce proceeding . . . Both parties are moving on with their private lives." Jones has been happily dating hunky chef Herb Wilson."

STAR HAS A NEW BOO

Look who has a new boo.....Go girl!

The former View host has a new boyfriend who knows his way around a kitchen – Herb Wilson, the executive chef at Manhattan's Soho and Tribeca Grand hotels. The couple was spotted kissing in the stands at the U.S. Open last weekend.

Star, 46, and her husband of 3 1/2 years, Al Reynolds, 38, filed for divorce in March. While she has not talked publicly about the split, Reynolds released a series of YouTube videos about their oft-scrutinized marriage last July, in which he claimed to still love Jones "very much."

AL REYNOLDS TALKS

So Al Reynolds is opening up about his split from Star Jones, saying he's saddened by the breakup.

"I know in my heart that I entered my marriage with love and the best of intentions and leave it with great sadness that it didn't work," writes Reynolds in a MySpace post Tuesday.

Jones, 46, filed for divorce from Al, 37, last month. In his MySpace post, Al also declined to discuss the reasons for the divorce, but made it clear that he was hurt by the media coverage."If you think you are having a tough day, may I propose you walk in my shoes for a few hours," he writes. "In my mind, it feels like 'Dump on Al Month.' And I'm not having fun yet. I have been called a gigolo, a freeloader, unemployed, a sham and many other things that don't bear repeating. People on television, radio and the internet have spoken disparagingly of my life, my sexuality, my career and my integrity."

He says that few people truly know him, and may have some misconceptions from news reporting of his partying. "I indeed work very hard as a professor, business owner, doctoral student and author. I play hard too," he says. "I make no apologies for that. A guy is entitled to a little fun, after all." He adds the media has "barraged" his home, his friends and his family, including his 79-year-old mother, but that he remains convinced that he should not discuss the divorce.

"As much as I want to defend myself, it seems like a silly and futile exercise. It's clear that the media doesn't want to let the truth get in the way of a good story. I hate to ruin their fun. I take great comfort in the fact that my loved ones and those people who really know me continue to love and respect me."

Al notes that before he met Star he was a successful banker and is now "working to take my knowledge and experience of the business world and use it to empower and enlighten working class Americans who are often ‘left behind’ by traditional financial advice."

He's also completing his doctorate in organizational leadership and teaching at Florida Memorial University. "What I want people to know is that I am not the caricature portrayed by the media. I am complex, contradictory and capable of great intelligence but also remarkable stupidity," he writes. "In other words, I am a human being. To me, labels are for clothes, not people. So ... Please don't try to define me; don't try to categorize me; and most of all, don't label me. Instead, JUST GET TO KNOW ME. And if you see me, just call me Al."

I think people just want Al to come out of the closet.

AL BACK ON THE MARKET

Fresh off his split from Star Jones, Al Reynolds is back on the market.

The NY Post reports that he hit club Home late last week with a new buxom lady friend, where he was drink ing and dancing till the wee hours.

"He was at the bar with her. She was a pretty big girl," said a cocktail waitress at the club. "They were dancing to hip-hop and bobbing their heads. He had on a white button-down [shirt], open with a diamond necklace hanging out. And he was drinking all night with his pinky in the air." Also there was Sean Combs, who, oddly, sat in a corner reading a book....WTF to Diddy reading....LOL

STAR JONES WITH A NEW BEAU??

Forget about D Wade, Star Jones was spotted in NYC last night on the town with a new beau....Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, a professor at Temple University.

Go Star....Hopefully this can be a future love connection.....after you settle that divorce though.

STAR JONES FILES FOR DIVORCE

Looks like the rumor mill last month was right.....Star Jones has filed for divorce from husband Al Reynolds.

In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, Jones, 46, says: "Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts."

The statement concludes as follows: "I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."

Jones and Reynolds, a banker who is seven years' Jones's junior, married in 2004 in an elaborate ceremony – complete with controversial corporate sponsors – that included 500 guests and the bride's arrival at the church in a horse-drawn carriage. "Every single wedding fantasy I ever had was fulfilled, down to the most handsome groom in the history of the world," Star told reporters.

Recently, it's been a bumpy two years for the former View cohost, who parted ways with the ABC daytime program – and with its chief host and executive producer, Barbara Walters – in 2006. In early February of this year, when her TruTV (formerly Court TV) show left the air, Jones expressed pride in her efforts and in herself. In a statement at the time, she said, "Whenever there is a change in life, you re-assess, re-evaluate and decide if what you are doing ... is what you should be doing. My answer is yes."

I actually like Star so regardless of how obvious his sexual preferance was I hate that she's going through this. I hope she gets it together.

STAR JONES CALLS A QUITS??

According to the gossip column of MSNBC, Star Jones and Al Reynolds may be calling a quits.

A rep for Jones says the report is false, but the Enquirer goes on to say, “They hadn’t been seeing eye to eye for months and had already spent a great deal of time apart,” a friend of the couple told the Enquirer. “Finally, Star decided it was over. She told Al at the end of January that he had 30 days to get his act together or ‘get out.’”

The pair made one last public appearance at the Feb. 1 Baby Phat fashion show in New York City, but everything fell apart days later. That prompted Star to show Al the door ahead of schedule, the source said. “Al moved some of his things out of their Upper East Side apartment and returned to Miami, where he’d already been spending a lot of time recently.”

The Enquirer spoke to another insider who confirmed the breakup and revealed Star’s intention to make it permanent. “Star is planning to divorce Al.” As for reason behind the split, the source added, “I think Star felt Al had spent their marriage riding her success while she did all the heavy lifting. She resented it. Deep down, Star is a very old-fashioned woman who believes a man should support her emotionally, physically and financially. She now believes Al failed her.” "
