CHRIS BROWN BODYGUARDS KICK BUTT
A photographer for the Tampa Bay Times was beaten and robbed Monday night near the Vintage Ultra Lounge in downtown St. Petersburg, where he attended Chris Brown's birthday party.
According to Luis Santana, 25, he talked to the Vintage security and was told he could take photographs outside. Yet when he photographed Brown in a black Excursion or Expedition limousine, security guards for the celebrities chased him and forced him to the ground, Santana said. One guard put his knee on Santana's jaw and when he tried to push it away, the guards took his camera, worth about $3,000.
Santana said he has abrasions and bruises on his chest, back and arms.
"I’ve shot many many celebrities and this was just another notch on my belt," Santana said. "Then it just turned sour."
Police said there could be four male suspects who are bodyguards, but their names are unknown. The suspects left the scene in the limousine.
A source who was at Chris's birthday party says that the photog opened the door as Rihanna and Chris had just gotten into the car, startling everyone. Security thought that Luis Santana, the cameraman, was attempting to enter the vehicle and went into action. For his part, Santana says that a window (not a door) was down and he tried to peek in and take a picture. He says Chris actually began chasing him, and that's when security took over.
I'm not mad at security....touching a window or a door of a vehicle is too close...He was asking for that.
MARIAH OVER THE MOON
Vogue editor Andre Leon Talley reports that newlywed Mariah Carey is "over the moon" with happiness about her recent marriage to Nick Cannon.
"She is very happy," he reported at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala in New York on Monday.
"I've spoken with her and she is superb. She is over the moon." In his latest communication from the singer, he said she sounds like a woman in love. "I received an email from her [Monday] and she is so happy. She really sounds like someone on her honeymoon." Talley also had words of praise for the songbird's new husband. "I love Nick Cannon for Mariah," he said. "For Mariah, this is poetry."
This has to be one of the biggest WTF happenings of the year.

Looks like Kanye is back to his old ways. The Chi-town rapper went off after receiving B+ from Entertainment Weekly for his “Glow In the Dark” tour performance in Seattle.
“Yo, anybody that’s not a fan; don’t come to my show. For what?! To try to throw yall to cents in? Yall rated my album shitty and now yall come to the show and give it a B+. What’s a B+ mean? I’m an extremist. It’s either pass or fail! A+ or F-! You know what, fuck you and the whole fucking staff!!! I know I shouldn’t dignify this with a comment, but the reviewer threw a jab at all the artists. I just wanna know when was the last time you enjoyed yourself. If you can’t have fun and loose yourself at this tour it’s a good chance you’re a very miserable person.
I actually feel sorry for you guys. Your job forces you to not have fun anymore. Grab a drink, holla at some nice girls, and party bitch!!! You don’t know shit about passion and art. You’ll never gain credibility at this rate. You’re fucking trash! I make art. You can’t rate this. I’m a real person. I’m not a pop star. I don’t care about anything but making great art. NEW WITNESS IN KELLY CASE
A new witness has emerged in R Kelly’s child pornography case.
The Suntimes reports that "a woman is set to testify at R. Kelly’s upcoming child pornography trial that she had a three-way sexual encounter with Kelly and the allegedly underage girl shown in the video at the heart of the case. The 41-year-old R&B superstar is accused of videotaping himself having sex with a girl estimated to be 13 or 14. He has pleaded not guilty. Jury selection is set to begin Friday. As part of the case, prosecutors claim to have identified the girl in the videotape. This alleged victim is now in her 20s. Kelly’s lawyers plan to argue — and the alleged victim will reportedly testify — that she is not the girl in the tape. But the prosecution’s new witness could undermine that defense, since she will identify the girl, sources with knowledge of the matter told the Chicago Sun-Times. In addition, the witness is expected to say the girl was underage at the time of their encounter.
Let's hope this finally lands his butt behind bars!

MARIAH & NICK CANNON MARRIED??
So according to the rumor mill aka NY Post, Mariah Carey, 38, got secretly hitched yesterday to 27 year-old Nick Cannon.
“A source” close to Mimi confirmed that they got married at the home she just bought in Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
"They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks," the friend said. "And she's always had a crush on him."
It's the second marriage for Carey, who took her first walk down the aisle with record kingpin Tommy Mottola.
Cannon had last been linked to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks, to whom he proposed via the Times Square JumboTron. Five months later, the couple broke up.
"Everyone is happy to see her happy," Carey's friend told The Post. "And it could work out - some people know each other for five years and get divorced. Maybe this is true, instant love."
A friend told The Post that Carey and Cannon got a quickie pre-nup, adding that the pop diva "is no dummy."
In addition, the dazzling 17-carat diamond ring Carey wears is similar to the one Cannon gave Ebanks, whom he dated for six weeks before proposing.
Ebanks' rep confirmed to media outlets yesterday that the model did, in fact, return the blingy ring, said to be worth $2.5 million, to Cannon.
Guests at the Carey wedding included Carey's longtime pal, rapper Da Brat.

The mother of Damon Dash's son, Linda Williams, claims that 16-year-old son Damon Dash II, aka "Boogie," was living without "hot water or electricity for two months in his bedroom," and that Damon took him to the morgue to ID an uncle who committed suicide by gunshot to the head.
Worst of all, she claims Damon didn't spring for $3,600 for hoops camp and he has been cagey over a promise to put $10 mil in trust for the Boogie.
