I am a lil surprised at the number of people that seem to disapprove of the relationship with my boyfriend. I find this reality to be kind of hard to accept. There are times when I notice people giving us long hard stares and those stares are usually from my own people! Honestly, I wish everyone could benefit from the beauty that can come from experiences that happen outside of your own comfort zone. Give it a shot and you can learn so much from a person you never thought you’d talk to or have something in common with. Jay-Z and fellow New Yorker Alicia Keys are set to perform on Wednesday, as the Yankees take on defending World Series champs, the Philadelphia Phillies.
"Thank the good Lord for making me a Yankee," the Brooklyn native said in an interview Monday.
He calls the opportunity a "once in a lifetime experience" and says though the jam has become an unofficial New York anthem, he's not pushing for it to be the city's theme song.
"I'm not pitching it for anything, it's just a song I made for New York City," he said.
"Really it's about inspiration, it's about hope — I think that's what connects with people. The song connects outside of New York. Every night I play it, there's a monster response, no matter if we're in Providence or whenever."

Last weekend, Monica celebrated her brand new reality show “Still Standing” in Atlanta at Bocado restaurant. She was also celebrating her 29th birthday. The series starts Tuesday night.

Uhhh ohhhhh.....all H-E-double hockey sticks has broken out against loooooong-time upcoming singer Tiffany Evans.
So Tiffany took to Twitter to bash Rihanna's "Russian Roulette" song.
"You gotta watch what u say. Because there are a lot of weak people in the world. They are susceptible to anything so anything you say or do some people actually do listen. So make sure its nothing bad. Its okay to be deep, but not murder deep. Some of your favorite people pretend to worship God but they only do that to save face. Or seem innocent. Satan was head of music in heaven. He uses influential people … to help influence the world."
Why did she do that....because the song's producer Chuck Harmony came back spitting fire:
"There are no satanic messages in the music. Maybe if we did a remake of ‘Promise Ring’ (Tiffany’s hit single), then Rihanna wouldn’t be a devil worshipper. People are so closed minded. The song is not literal. Like most provocative art, its symbolism. Grow up. I’m never going to defend my art. I create it and then it’s out of my hands. So reviews don’t hurt me, but Tiffany’s unrealistic take on the song really urked me because idiots breed idiots. Bottom line, she is in the music business so she understands that the song is not indicative of the artist views, but rather, it’s the brainchild and vision of the songwriter and producer. With that being said, to use that song as a shining example of devil worship in the music business, you are saying that Ne-yo and Chuck Harmony are devil worshippers. Thats stupid!! That’s beyond stupid it’s immature. Artist should understand art. So with Tiffany Evans rant, I can safely say that the title artist should not be part of her bio."
And of course it only makes sense for the song's writer - Ne-Yo - to respond:
“It’s definitely dark, but if you think about it, ‘Thriller’ was dark, but it’s one of the biggest-selling records of all time. Nobody’s really going out to play Russian roulette or thinking about killing themselves or nothing like that. It was just an interesting topic over a crazy beat, and who better to pull that off than somebody like Rihanna?”

BEYONCE POSTPONES SHOW
Beyonce has postponed a planned concert in Malaysia, the event's organizer said Monday, following accusations by Islamic conservatives that the show would be immoral.
B was scheduled to perform at a Kuala Lumpur stadium Oct. 25. The show "has been postponed to a future date to be announced shortly," Malaysian entertainment company Marctensia said in a statement.
"The postponement is solely (the) decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons," the statement said.
A Marctensia representative declined to say whether the decision was prompted by criticism from the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, the country's largest opposition group, which has called for the show to be scrapped because it would promote "Western sexy performances."
Knowles also canceled a planned performance in Malaysia in 2007 following protest threats by the opposition Islamic party. At the time, her talent agency said the show was called off due to a scheduling conflict.
Instead, Knowles went to Indonesia, also a largely Muslim country, which has less stringent rules about how performers should dress and behave. Female artists at Malaysian concerts are required by government rules to cover up from the shoulders to knees, with no cleavage showing.
Last month, Marctensia addressed concerns that Knowles might wear inappropriate outfits, saying "all parties have come to an amicable understanding" about stage costumes.

MATHEW HIT WITH PATERNITY SUIT
TMZ is reporting that a woman has filed a paternity case against Beyonce's dad, Mathew Knowles.
Alexsandra Wright filed the case in L.A. County Superior Court...We're told she's in her late 30s.
Wright, who is 6-months pregnant, filed the case last week, alleges Knowles is the father. Sources say Wright is repped by Neal Hersh, who is currently repping Lamar Odom in the prenup negotiations with Khloe Kardashian.
Mathew has been married to Tina Knowles since 1980.
DMX CAUGHT ON TAPE
DMX caught acting a fool
DMX went on the warpath Friday night in Colorado Springs, Colorado after he was prevented from going on stage and delivering a performance to his fans. According to reports, DMX was scheduled to perform for American Charities but upon his arrival around 11 p.m., security and police authorities blocked his plans.
Security told X he was scheduled to be there at 9:30 p.m. and that concert attendees had already been told he wasn't coming...
X then tried to enter the stage but was accosted by authorities who jumped him to the ground as his fans and entourage joined the melee and the fight ensued. DMX still made it to the stage minus a sound system to let them know he was indeed in the building.
While the cancellation of the show still hasn't been officially announced, reports are circulating that the charity organization gave DMX half his money up front but didn't have the second half at the time of the show. Rather than renegotiate, they decided to cancel the performance.

MJ just received 5 American Music Award nominations.

Almost two years after her untimely death, The Donda West law has emerged. 
"Nearly 2 years ago on November 10, 2007, Dr. Donda West, the mother of entertainer Kanye West passed away at the age of 58 following cosmetic surgery. The retired professor underwent surgery without a medical clearance, her preexisting coronary artery disease and multiple postoperative factors following surgery are what led to the fatal outcome.
The Donda West law, makes health checks and a written clearance mandatory before being allowed to undergo plastic surgery in the state of California."
"Sometimes patients may think they are well enough for cosmetic surgery, but in reality are not," Assemblywoman Wilmer Amina Carter said. "This bill will potentially save lives."
Carter was contacted by Donda West's niece, Yolanda Anderson, to propose the bill in February 2008. The bill was approved by the senate, but vetoed by the Governor, due to an overwhelming amount of bills. In an effort to not give up on her aunt, Yolanda was determined to get the law passed.
The Donda West Law Assembly Bill 1116 was re-submitted, February 27, 2009 and as of October 12, 2009, The Donda West Law is now a law. Yolanda Anderson realizes that this will never bring Dr. West back; however the comfort in knowing that she turned Donda's Tragedy into Triumphed.

MINORITY REPORT: AVRIL FILES FOR DIVORCE
Singer Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from hubby Deryck Whibley.
The singer, 25, cites "irreconcilable differences" in court paperwork, according to TMZ.com. She's not asking for spousal support, and has also requested not to pay spousal support to Whibley.
Lavigne confirmed on her blog that she was separating from her Sum 41 rocker husband.
"Deryck and I have been together for six and a half years," she wrote. "We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21.
"I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know, and I love him with all my heart," she went on. "Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note."

LISA RAYE HOLDS ON TO THE DRAMA
Some people just hold grudges and it looks like that's what Lisa Raye is doing. The NY Daily News reports:
Star Jones and Vivica A. Fox may want to take shelter: Their former pal, LisaRaye McCoy, says they did her wrong - and she's going to use her new reality show to prove it.
The actress, who starred in the Will Smith-produced sitcom "All of Us" from 2003 to 2007, says a slew of her celebrity friends abandoned her after her divorce last year from Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick, and she plans to blast them on her still-untitled show.
First up is former "View" co-host Jones, who raised McCoy's ire by supposedly supporting Misick after the divorce. "LisaRaye hosted Star at her home in the Turks & Caicos for three weeks when Star was going through her divorce from Al Reynolds," says a source close to the TV One series. "When the tables turned and McCoy's marriage ended, Star was helping LisaRaye's husband."
That allegedly included counseling Misick and even recommending her personal damage-control publicist to aid him during the messy split.
McCoy says she was also double-crossed by former best friend Fox, who allegedly shared McCoy's most intimate secrets with Misick. "LisaRaye hasn't spoken to Vivica since," said the source.
The list doesn't stop there - in fact, it gets worse. McCoy also counts "106 & Park" host Rosci as an enemy, accusing the BET star of having an illicit affair with Misick. Even McCoy's former TV hubby on "All of Us" has fallen out of favor - McCoy claims actor Duane Martin provided a mistress for her then-husband in an effort to do business on Turks & Caicos.
"LisaRaye intends to use her show as an outlet to air it all," says the source. "She's been quiet until now, but when she starts sharing these stories, it'll make 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' look like a gathering of church ladies."

Beyonce is finally breaking her silence on Kanye's VMA outburst:
Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he’s like, ‘You have this award,’” Beyoncé told O: The Oprah Magazine editor Gayle King after accepting her award. “And when they didn’t call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, ‘No, no, no!’ and then he spoke, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, no, no!’
“But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment — and I didn’t have to make an acceptance speech.”
GV Says: I'm glad to hear her say something. Although he was all wrong and all out of turn, I actually understand Kanye. At times he's so passionate that he doesn't think. And in the VMA case all he thought was "Beyonce should have won." He never once thought I'm ruining Taylor's acceptance. He has to do better, but I'm glad to see her not kick him when he's down.

BOND DENIED FOR ALLEGED MURDERER OF AJ JEWELL
Bond was denied yesterday for Frederick Richardson–the alleged killer of Kandi Burruss‘ fiance Ashley “A.J.” Jewell. Richardson is charged with voluntary manslaughter.
The AJC reports:
Magistrate Sylvia McCoy said she based her decision “on the nature of the crime.”
Credible sources (including our own) are still reporting that the cause of the fight stemmed from a business deal gone wrong And despite early reports saying AJ suffered a severe and fatal blow to the head during the fight, Richardson’s lawyers say that’s not what happened:
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Tuesday it was still waiting on test results before deciding how Jewell, 34, died.
While waiting for the hearing to start, [defense attorney Dennis] Scheib told reporters Jewell started the dispute with Richardson, the general manager at the club since May.
Scheib said Jewell was stretched out on Richardson’s sofa in his office “with a gun” beside him earlier in the day Friday.
Richardson said to Jewell “‘what are you doing?’ He [Jewell] said ‘I’ve got something for you,’” Scheib said.
According to Richardson, Scheib said, Jewell then pulled back the slide on the handgun.
Later in the parking lot, “A.J. comes out and says ‘I’ve got something for you.’ He takes off his shirt.. and hits Richardson twice,” Scheib said.
The two exchange blows and then Richardson leaves the parking lot. He went to the hospital to have his broken index finger treated. Scheib said. As Richardson was driving out of the parking lot, “A.J. was walking away. He wasn’t beaten to death,” Scheib said.

ATTACKERS IN KANDI BURRUSS' EX-FIANCE CAUGHT
As we all know the ex-fiance of Kandi Burruss was murdered late Friday evening at a northwest Atlanta strip club.
Polite said Jewell worked at the club but he did not know in what capacity. Burruss said in an interview with the entertainment Web site Essence.com last month that Jewell had bought an interest in an Atlanta club but she did not identify the business. Body Tap is popular with celebrities. Burruss, who has a daughter, was flooded with condolences Saturday on her social networking pages on Twitter.com and MySpace.com. Kandi Burruss thanked friends for their condolences and asked for prayers for Jewell’s six children. She also asked to be left alone. “im just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk, i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone,” she wrote on a Twitter.com post. She also posted that she had to get some rest before her uncle’s funeral on Saturday.

In minority news, The Hills may be on its way out.
With no Lauren Conrad, Tuesday's show was the series' lowest-rated premiere yet, with 2.1 million viewers tuning in.
Meanwhile, the second season premiere of The City- the spinoff show starring Hills alum Whitney Port- went up 43%, drawing more than 2 million viewers compared to the 1.6 million viewers who tuned in when the series debuted.
Speaking of Lauren Conrad, she's still keeping plenty busy.
Her bestselling debut novel, "L.A. Candy," is being made into a movie, Variety reports. Temple Hill Entertainment, responsible for the "Twilight" movies, has bought the screen rights and Conrad will executive produce.

Rihanna was spotted out and about in Paris for the Fashion Week shows. She popped up on the Front Row of the Gareth Pugh show last night. 
GV Says: We also hear she's dating Justin Timberlake, but we're not yet buying that tall tale.
KANYE STILL WILDIN'
The rumor mill is reporting that Kanye spazzed out over some chicken. I just knew some report would eventually come out denying this foolishness but no such case. The rapper was allegedly upset over his not being offered food while in the dressing room backstage. After spotting a man eating chicken, West blurted, “Why wasn’t I offered chicken? You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating… why am I not eating?” When the waitress explained that he never asked for food, ‘Ye yelled, “Well, I’m asking now!”. After receiving chicken, he allegedly proceeded to take a bite and then throw the rest in the trash. Meanwhile, the rapper’s beau Amber Rose, stood silent, while other celebrities backstage watched in awe.
