Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds tied the knot New Year's Day on a private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia in front of 25 friends and family.
In a sunset ceremony on the beach Tuesday, Edmonds walked barefoot down the aisle to Gladys Knight's "Makings of You."
The bride wore a custom-designed form-fitting dress by stylist and designer Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, designer and owner of Baracci boutique. Murphy wore a cream suit and vest with an off-white handkerchief.
Among the guests were best man Johnny Gill, maid of honor Nicole Avant, matron of honor Julie Lev, as well as Edmonds's parents Jacqueline and George McQuarn, her brother Michael, Murphy's mother Lillian Lynch and his brother Vernon.
Edmonds, 40, gave her bridesmaids gold and diamond earrings from XIV Karats in Beverly Hills, and Murphy, 46, gave his groomsmen D.Atlantis watches.
The wedding was designed by event designer Colin Cowie, who created a gazebo on the beach made out of 6,000 shells for the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests celebrated at a private dinner and after-party.

Brandy is in the clear — according to TMZ, the Los Angeles city attorney will not be filing charges against the singer over the multi-car crash that claimed the life of a woman in December 2006.
The attorney had until the end of the day Friday (December 28) to file criminal charges against Brandy in the incident. The singer's attorney, Blair Berk, reportedly responded with a statement, saying, "These past 12 months have posed an extraordinary hardship for Brandy and her family, who have been unfairly forced to live under a cloud of suspicion initially caused by the ill-advised and premature press release sent out by the California Highway Patrol accusing Brandy of wrongdoing before the police investigation was even finished. However, Brandy continues to be mindful that she was so fortunate to be uninjured in this accident and there was a life lost that should be remembered."
Brandy is, however, still facing a $50 million wrongful-death suit from the family of the victim, Awatef Aboudihaj

Fashion chain H&M will launch a new clothing collection aimed at spreading awareness of HIV and AIDS among young people and raising money for projects to battle the disease.
The collection, dubbed "Fashion Against AIDS," is supported by well-known designers, musicians and artists, including Rihanna, Timbaland and Ziggy Marley. It will be available in stores in February.
The collection comprises T-shirts, tank tops and hooded sweaters featuring specially designed prints. H&M developed the campaign together with nonprofit group Designers Against AIDS.
Twenty-five percent of the proceeds will be donated to HIV and AIDS prevention projects around the world. Artists participated in the making of the collection free of charge.
Looks like another Hollywood starlet was caught breaking the law....Mischa Barton was arrested in West Hollywood early Thursday morning.
The former star of The O.C., 21, was pulled over at 2:46 a.m. after her vehicle was seen straddling two lanes of traffic and she failed to signal when making a turn, according to an L.A. County Sheriff Department statement released Thursday. She was arrested for DUI and driving without a valid license.
"During Ms. Barton's detention, it was determined that she was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage," according to police. "Ms. Barton was arrested and transported to West Hollywood Sheriff's station where the booking process was completed without incident."
Barton has been released from sheriff's custody after she posted $10,000 bail."
Mom-to-be Jessica Alba was spotted over the Christmas holiday with a rock on her left ring finger – and the rumors are true: She and boyfriend Cash Warren are engaged, her rep confirms.
"I can confirm that they are engaged," says publicist Brad Cafarelli.
Earlier this month, the couple announced that they are expecting a baby. Alba, 26, has been dating Warren, 28, since the fall of 2004, after they met on the set of her movie, The Fantastic Four, on which Warren was a director's assistant.
