LISA RAYE HOLDS ON TO THE DRAMA

Some people just hold grudges and it looks like that's what Lisa Raye is doing. The NY Daily News reports:


Star Jones and Vivica A. Fox may want to take shelter: Their former pal, LisaRaye McCoy, says they did her wrong - and she's going to use her new reality show to prove it.

The actress, who starred in the Will Smith-produced sitcom "All of Us" from 2003 to 2007, says a slew of her celebrity friends abandoned her after her divorce last year from Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick, and she plans to blast them on her still-untitled show.

First up is former "View" co-host Jones, who raised McCoy's ire by supposedly supporting Misick after the divorce. "LisaRaye hosted Star at her home in the Turks & Caicos for three weeks when Star was going through her divorce from Al Reynolds," says a source close to the TV One series. "When the tables turned and McCoy's marriage ended, Star was helping LisaRaye's husband."

That allegedly included counseling Misick and even recommending her personal damage-control publicist to aid him during the messy split.

McCoy says she was also double-crossed by former best friend Fox, who allegedly shared McCoy's most intimate secrets with Misick. "LisaRaye hasn't spoken to Vivica since," said the source.

The list doesn't stop there - in fact, it gets worse. McCoy also counts "106 & Park" host Rosci as an enemy, accusing the BET star of having an illicit affair with Misick. Even McCoy's former TV hubby on "All of Us" has fallen out of favor - McCoy claims actor Duane Martin provided a mistress for her then-husband in an effort to do business on Turks & Caicos.

"LisaRaye intends to use her show as an outlet to air it all," says the source. "She's been quiet until now, but when she starts sharing these stories, it'll make 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' look like a gathering of church ladies."

GV Says: I'm glad to hear her say something. Although he was all wrong and all out of turn, I actually understand Kanye. At times he's so passionate that he doesn't think. And in the VMA case all he thought was "Beyonce should have won." He never once thought I'm ruining Taylor's acceptance. He has to do better, but I'm glad to see her not kick him when he's down.

BOND DENIED FOR ALLEGED MURDERER OF AJ JEWELL

Bond was denied yesterday for Frederick Richardson–the alleged killer of Kandi Burruss‘ fiance Ashley “A.J.” Jewell. Richardson is charged with voluntary manslaughter.



The AJC reports:

Magistrate Sylvia McCoy said she based her decision “on the nature of the crime.”

Credible sources (including our own) are still reporting that the cause of the fight stemmed from a business deal gone wrong And despite early reports saying AJ suffered a severe and fatal blow to the head during the fight, Richardson’s lawyers say that’s not what happened:

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Tuesday it was still waiting on test results before deciding how Jewell, 34, died.

While waiting for the hearing to start, [defense attorney Dennis] Scheib told reporters Jewell started the dispute with Richardson, the general manager at the club since May.

Scheib said Jewell was stretched out on Richardson’s sofa in his office “with a gun” beside him earlier in the day Friday.

Richardson said to Jewell “‘what are you doing?’ He [Jewell] said ‘I’ve got something for you,’” Scheib said.

According to Richardson, Scheib said, Jewell then pulled back the slide on the handgun.

Later in the parking lot, “A.J. comes out and says ‘I’ve got something for you.’ He takes off his shirt.. and hits Richardson twice,” Scheib said.

The two exchange blows and then Richardson leaves the parking lot. He went to the hospital to have his broken index finger treated. Scheib said. As Richardson was driving out of the parking lot, “A.J. was walking away. He wasn’t beaten to death,” Scheib said.

ATTACKERS IN KANDI BURRUSS' EX-FIANCE CAUGHT

As we all know the ex-fiance of Kandi Burruss was murdered late Friday evening at a northwest Atlanta strip club.

Atlanta homicide detectives have arrested a suspect in the beating death of the former fiancé of the newest member of the reality television show The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Fredrick Richardson has been charged with voluntary manslaughter. Ashley “A.J.” Jewell, who was engaged to Kandi Burruss until last August, died of massive head injuries he suffered in a “one-on-one” fight in the parking lot of an Atlanta strip bar, the Body Tap Club in the 1200 block of Marietta Boulevard. Richardson was also hospitalized due to injuries sustained in the fight and is at Grady Memorial Hospital, but will be jailed once released by medical staff. Atlanta police spokesman Officer James Polite said detectives were still “trying to figure out [what happened]. We had a pretty good number of witnesses that are being cooperative.” But the cause of the fight was still not known Saturday.

Polite said Jewell worked at the club but he did not know in what capacity. Burruss said in an interview with the entertainment Web site Essence.com last month that Jewell had bought an interest in an Atlanta club but she did not identify the business. Body Tap is popular with celebrities. Burruss, who has a daughter, was flooded with condolences Saturday on her social networking pages on Twitter.com and MySpace.com. Kandi Burruss thanked friends for their condolences and asked for prayers for Jewell’s six children. She also asked to be left alone. “im just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk, i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone,” she wrote on a Twitter.com post. She also posted that she had to get some rest before her uncle’s funeral on Saturday.

Kim Zolciak, a fellow “Housewives” castmate, said in a phone interview from California Saturday morning how “disgusted” she was that someone could take a life like this. “My heart and prayers are with Kandi, AJ’s children and family,” she said. “I can’t imagine the loss they’re feeling. I’ll be there for my dear friend Kandi.” Zolciak added, “I adored A.J. He will definitely be missed.”

In minority news, The Hills may be on its way out.


With no Lauren Conrad, Tuesday's show was the series' lowest-rated premiere yet, with 2.1 million viewers tuning in.

Meanwhile, the second season premiere of The City- the spinoff show starring Hills alum Whitney Port- went up 43%, drawing more than 2 million viewers compared to the 1.6 million viewers who tuned in when the series debuted.

Speaking of Lauren Conrad, she's still keeping plenty busy.

Her bestselling debut novel, "L.A. Candy," is being made into a movie, Variety reports. Temple Hill Entertainment, responsible for the "Twilight" movies, has bought the screen rights and Conrad will executive produce.

The rumor mill is reporting that Kanye spazzed out over some chicken. I just knew some report would eventually come out denying this foolishness but no such case.

The rapper was allegedly upset over his not being offered food while in the dressing room backstage. After spotting a man eating chicken, West blurted, “Why wasn’t I offered chicken? You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating… why am I not eating?”

When the waitress explained that he never asked for food, ‘Ye yelled, “Well, I’m asking now!”. After receiving chicken, he allegedly proceeded to take a bite and then throw the rest in the trash. Meanwhile, the rapper’s beau Amber Rose, stood silent, while other celebrities backstage watched in awe.

VICK TEAMS UP WITH NIKE

Looks like Nike is willing to take a chance w/ Vick.



Liz Mullen of the Sports Business Journal broke the surprising news Wednesday that Vick has teamed up again with Nike.

"Mike has had a great relationship with Nike and is excited to be part of the Nike team again," Vick's agent Joel Segal said.

Segal wouldn't discuss the terms, per the agreement between Vick and the shoe company. Vick will wear Nike shoes and apparel.

Nike may have determined that consumers buying their products aren't nearly as hung up with Vick's past as the people writing about him.

JON DROPPED

Finally a good decision made....TLC has dropped Jon from the Jon & Kate Plus 8 show.

TLC announced on Tuesday that the show will be renamed Kate Plus Eight, beginning Nov. 2.

It will continue to focus on the lives of the young Gosselin twins, 8, and 5-year-old sextuplets but with a deeper focus on Kate's role as a single mother.

"Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family," TLC president Eileen O’Neill said in a statement. "The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it; we feel that Kate’s journey really resonates with our viewers."

She added that the network is in development on a Kate project for 2010.

It's official. After just one month of dating, Khloe Kardashian and Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom have married.

The ceremony, which began Sunday afternoon just after 5 p.m. was held at the Los Angeles mansion of Kardashian family friend and music manager Irving Azoff.

It is the first marriage for both Kardashian, 25, and Odom, 29, who has two children from a previous relationship.

Khloe's immediate family members -- mom Kris Jenner, stepfather Bruce Jenner, sisters Kim, 28, and Kourtney, 30 and brother Robert -- were among the 200 guests, who received cupcakes in purple and yellow Lakers colors as favors.

Kardashian's bridesmaids wore short strapless lilac dresses.

Also in attendance were Odom's L.A. Lakers teammates, Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, reality star Brittny Gastineau and TV personality LaLa Vasquez.

KANYE WEST HEADED TO REHAB???

According to the rumor mill. Kanye West may be headed to rehab.



Rumor has it Kanye is considering checking into rehab! According to Star, Kanye has been boozing ever since his mother Donda died one day after receiving a tummy tuck in November 2007.

An insider tells the mag, “His drinking is getting worse — and when he has too much, he can be mean and obnoxious. If he doesn’t get help soon, things could really spiral out of control.”

Apparently he’s planning on checking in after his Fame Kills tour with Lady Gaga wraps up in January. “Kanye’s afraid to go to rehab, but he knows he needs help and is taking steps in the right direction.”

In addition, our Hollyscoop spies witnessed Kanye at Hollywood hotspot Capitol City on September 22nd when he attended Seth MacFarlane’s premiere party for The Cleveland Show.

Our source says a waitress approached the table Kanye was sitting at, and handed him a white wine. "Kanye must have wanted something a little stronger because he sent back the wine in exchange for a lemon drop martini."

The stronger liquor must have gotten Kanye into party mode, because our eyewitness says he was overly touchy-feely with girlfiend Amber, and we’ll just say there was major PDA from them.

CHRIS BROWN LANDS A GIG

Chris Brown has booked his first performance since his assault with Rihanna.


Brown will headline Power 105.1’s Powerhouse ’09 concert. Keri Hilson, The-Dream, Trey Songz, Mario, Day26 and Ginuwine will also perform.

Concert promoters and music producers say the caliber of this lineup isn’t up to what Brown would have shared a bill with before the assault.

“This is a pretty C-list lineup,” said one promoter who’s not involved in the show at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ. “Keri Hilson is good, Ginuwine has some following, but this is nothing like the lineup that would have surrounded him this time last year. Chris was the Michael Jackson heir apparent, he had huge endorsement deals. This isn’t the sort of show you would have expected from him before he got in trouble.”

NO ONE IS SCARED OF 50 CENT

So we all know Hov is on the promotional trail and to no surprise heads are asking him about Kanye, but things get a little touchy when 50 cent is thrown into the mix.

In a recent interview, 50 Cent stated he would have assaulted Kanye West in the same situation.

"I wish he could come take one of my awards so I could black his eye in front of everybody," 50 Cent stated.

“I think he would have done that if that was 50 Cent," Jay-Z told BBC radio's Trevor Nelson during an interview. "No one is scared of 50 Cent. I want everyone to be clear. No one is scared of 50 Cent.”

“I just think that that’s what he believed,” Jay-Z told Trevor Nelson. “I thought it was rude I though it was inappropriate and I told him as much. But I don’t think he was wrong.”

PLAXICO HEADS TO JAIL

Former NFL wide receiver Plaxico Burress surrendered to authorities Tuesday to serve a two-year prison sentence on a weapons charge.

Burress was also sentenced to two years of post-release supervision with permission to travel for business.

Plaxico, 32, pleaded guilty in August to a weapons charge stemming from a shooting incident at a nightclub last year.

The former New York Giants wide receiver accidentally shot himself in the leg with a .40-caliber semi-automatic pistol he was carrying in his waistband. The incident occurred November 29, 2008, in the VIP area of the Latin Quarter nightclub in Manhattan.

Plaxico was not licensed to carry a pistol in either New York or New Jersey.

No one, including employees of the New York Presbyterian Hospital and the NFL, called the police to report the gunshot wound, as required by law. One hospital worker was suspended after the incident.

Plax became a hero to New York Giants fans in the 2008 Super Bowl when he caught the game-winning touchdown pass from quarterback Eli Manning with 35 seconds remaining in the game.

After the gunshot incident, he was suspended from the Giants. The team released him in April.

TMZ reports that while at Rikers, Plax will be "staying in an individual cell -- meaning no cell mate -- which includes a mattress, sheet and blanket, drinking cup, faucet, toilet, toilet paper and soap."

He will also shower separately because of his celebrity status.

Khloe Kardashian is planning to wed Lamar Odom, a forward on the Los Angeles Lakers, this Sunday.

"Khloe and Lamar want to get married before Lamar has to go away for training, and the [basketball] season starts up [this fall]," a source revealed to reporters.

The wedding will take place at the L.A.-area home of music manager Irving Azoff, multiple sources confirm to Us. Azoff, a family friend of the Kardashians, hosted a wedding on almost the same September weekend a year ago for his daughter, Allison, which Kardashian attended. (She even blogged about the ceremony, saying that "this wedding really made me want to get married.")

Kardashian, 25, and Odom, 29 -- who met at a party in L.A. -- will be tying the knot after only about a month of dating.

Looks like Mya suffered a little cut just before her DWTS debut. The singer had a weekend trip to an L.A.-area hospital to get stitches after suffering a deep cut from broken glass.

According to the rumor mill, Usher has moved on.

According to the latest In Touch, the 30-year-old singer is apparently involved with a new cougar....HA!

The rag mag reports that Usher is now dating Island Def Jam executive Grace Miguel, 42.

Rumors of the two being a couple began back in June when photographs surfaced of them shopping in Malibu, Calif. Other photos of Miguel leaving Usher's hotel room late one night also appeared online.

An unnamed source tells In Touch that Usher is really into Grace and alleges they've been together for six months.

A friend of the singer told the mag that Miguel is "so brilliant" and that Usher "loves the fact that she's creative, has her own career and doesn't appear to want anything from him other than companionship. He's madly in love."

They allegedly met while working together with Usher's newest protégé, Justin Bieber.

BEYONCE SUED BY ABERCROMBIE & FITCH

Beyonce Knowles and teen clothing giant Abercrombie & Fitch are going to war over the scent name "Fierce." NY Daily News reports:

In a federal suit, the Ohio-based chain of popular mall stores sued Knowles, saying they already own the name of her upcoming scent.

The grammy-winning singer announced this week that she had teamed up with fragrance maker Coty, which launched the celebrity scent craze in 2002 when Jennifer Lopez' Glow racked up $100 million in sales in one year.

Knowles' perfume, named after her onstage alter ego, Sasha Fierce, is supposed to launch next spring. Her line of clothing, also called Sasha Fierce, just debuted in department stores.

The superstar singer described her new scent as "an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that's refelective of my inner power."

Abercrombie said the whole thing stinks.

Within hours of Tuesday's announcement, Abercrombie filed suit in federal court in Columbus, asking a judge to stop Knowles and accusing her of trademark infringement, unfair competition and deceptive trade practices because it already sells a men's cologne called Fierce.

The $40 cologne comes in a bottle featuring the standard Abercrombie and Fitch branding: a ripped male torso. Store employees spritz stacks of clothing with it.
