DMX is officially on "lockdown status" in Arizona's Tent City Jail for threatening to fight the guards.

After X failed to report for his medication, officials say the former platinum rapper began cussing at officers and threatened to "assault somebody to get some respect."

DMX was immediately thrown into lockdown and punished with a "special diet that is a form of bread and water."

It all started when he refused to report for work, telling officers, "I already have a job and don't need this (expletive)."

CHRIS PULLS OUT OF ALL STAR

NBA All-Star reps have just confirmed that Chris Brown issued an official statement to them saying he is pulling out of the All-Star events. All-Star starts in Phoenix this Sunday. Chris was scheduled to play in a celebrity b-ball game and other festivities.

More disturbing, TMZ has confirmed that LAPD cops at the station took pictures of Rihanna’s injuries last night. Apparently the pics show a split lip, “horrific” bruises, bite marks on her fingers. Rihanna allegedly claims Chris definitely used his fists on her, not a weapon. Also, it’s being reported that Rihanna wasn’t the one who dialed 911, someone who heard her screams did.

TAMEKA IN STABLE CONDITION

Tameka Foster is in stable condition after complications during surgery in South America.

“Tameka Foster is in stable condition after suffering complications from routine surgery in Brazil,” Usher’s rep said in a statement. “Her husband Usher is with her at the hospital. No further details will be released, and the family requests privacy at this difficult time.”

Dr. Gabriel Hunt, a neurosurgeon with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, arrived in Brazil Sunday.

More bad news for Chris Brown

In the wake of Chris Brown's arrest on Sunday for making criminal threats, the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company — makers of Doublemint chewing gum — have announced that they are suspending a current ad campaign that features the singer.

"Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen," the company said in a statement. "However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved."

Chris and Wrigley entered into a high-profile partnership last summer.

FOXY BROWN COMES AT 50

The supposed beef between 50 Cent and Rick Ross just expanded to include Foxy Brown who at one time dated Ross.

It seems 50 caused a stir when he dropped the line- "The cop f**ked a fox."

According to AllHipHop.com, Foxy Brown's camp issued a statement saying she has no involvement in the conflict between the two male rap stars. "Foxy is giving that n***a 24 hour [period] to retract that statement or she's going handle [him] Brooklyn Style," the statement reportedly said.

FANTASIA HEADS BACK TO SCHOOL

Fantasia has confirmed that she will re-enroll in high school to finally earn her diploma after dropping out of ninth grade about a decade ago.

"I've been talking about it for so long," Fantasia, 24, told E! Online Friday. "I have a lot of young people who look up to me, like my 15-year-old brother and 7-year-old daughter. It's something that I really need to do and that I want to do."

More details have emerged in the Chris/ Rihanna battery saga.


While authorities will not identify the woman involved, citing confidentiality for victims of domestic abuse. Several outlets – including the Los Angeles Times – have confirmed the victim as Rihanna and reported that she remained hospitalized later Sunday with massive injuries sustained to her face.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a source close to the investigation has said that Brown was driving Rihanna in his rented Lamborghini through the Hancock Park section of Los Angeles, as published reports have stated, when the two began arguing for reasons that are still not clear.

Tensions escalated and Brown stopped the car on North June Street. The couple got out and Brown allegedly struck Rihanna more than once in the face, leaving her with enough wounds to warrant a hospital stay, according to our source. We were told that Brown ran off on foot after the alleged beatdown and took the car keys with him, leaving Rihanna stranded at the scene.

A witness called 911 shortly after midnight, but Brown was long gone when officers arrived. Police said Rihanna suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker.

According to the rumor mill, Rihanna's camp made authorities and hospital workers sign a confidentiality agreement forbidding them to share any information about the case.

Radar Online reported that a source inside Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where Rihanna was reportedly taken following the incident, said the singer became emotional when two female “assistants” went to visit her at the facility.

“Rihanna was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming,” the source said. “Rihanna was trying to get her point across about something, she sounded like she was crying as she tried to get… her point across.”

NICK CANNON TO HOST AMERICA'S GOT TALENT

Looks like Mr. Mariah Carey has landed a new gig.



The NY Post reports that Nick will preside over the NBC talent competition series when it returns for a fourth season this summer, the network announced Monday.

This variety show is the first of "multiple projects we are looking to do with Nick at NBC," said network chief Ben Silverman.

CHRIS BROWN TURNS HIMSELF IN

After much buzz, Chris Breezy turned himself in.

Brown, 19, turned himself in at the LAPD's Wilshire station around 6:30 p.m. and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, a charge that carries a maximum penalty of four years. The case will now be sent to the district attorney's office and further charges could be filed. He was released from jail after posting $50,000 bail.

"He was very professional and didn't appear to have injuries," said Sgt. Bridget Pickett, adding, "he's a good looking young man."

While Breezy appeared unscathed, the rumor mill reports that Rihanna, 20, suffered visible bruises on her face during an early morning confrontation.

TAMEKA FOSTER EXPERIENCES PLASTIC SURGERY INJURY

Usher's wife Tameka Foster Raymond has suffered a serious injury due to complications from plastic surgery in Brazil, reports Access Hollywood.



On Saturday night, Usher canceled his performance at the Recording Academy and Clive Davis's Pre-Grammy Gala. Davis told party-goers the singer had to bow out due to a "serious injury in the family."

On Sunday, Davis, Sony Music Worldwide's chief creative officer, said in a statement. "I talked to his mom. My thoughts are with them, whatever they’re facing."

Tameka, 37, gave birth to the couple's second child, Naveid Ely Raymond, in December. The two have an older son, Usher Raymond V, and Foster also has three sons from a previous relationship.

CHRIS BROWN UNDER FELONY INVESTIGATION

Chris Brown arrested for felony battery...WTF????!!!!???


Chris Brown is under investigation for alleged domestic violence felony battery, the LAPD confirms.

"The identity of the victim will not be released," said Officer April Harding. "Any victim who's involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality."

Officer Harding added: "If police locate Brown, yes, he's subject to arrest."

Both Brown and girlfriend Rihanna were scheduled to perform at the Grammys, but this statement was released Sunday evening: "We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight's 51st Annual Grammy Awards. We're sorry she is unable to join us this evening."

Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, the R&B singer and a woman were in a vehicle in L.A. when they became involved in an argument, according to a police statement. After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The LAPD received a 911 call reporting the disturbance.

When officers arrived they found the victim, but Brown had already left the scene, the statement reads. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker, police say.

The LAPD is conducting an investigation into the incident.

Earlier Saturday night Brown and Rihanna were at the Recording Academy and Clive Davis's Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills.

When asked about Rihanna's well being, her rep [stated], "Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support."

LAWSUIT AGAINST 50 CENT DISMISSED

Looks like 50 caught a break.



A New York judged dismissed a $50 million lawsuit filed against the rapper by ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins. In the suit, Tompkins claimed 50 promised to financially provide for her throughout her entire lifetime. Manhattan State Supreme Court Justice Carol Edmead, however, tossed the case out of court.

According to The Associated Press, Edmead said the rapper and Tompkins' saga was "an unfortunate tale of a love relationship gone sour."

The pair had publicly battled following a suspicious fire that burned down a Long Island mansion owned by 50 Cent that was occupied by Tompkins and their son, Marquise. Fire investigators questioned the rapper, but he was never charged in the incident. Tompkins charged that her former beau was trying to have her killed and filed a restraining order against 50. The rapper was required to give up possession of any firearms and relegated to restricted contact with his son. 50 fired back with a $20 million defamation suit against Tompkins.

Tompkins' attorney, Paul Catsandonis, is set to file an appeal over the dismissed lawsuit, AP is reporting.

50's lawyer, Brett Kimmel, released a statement to the media calling Thursday's decision a "victory for 50."

"Ms. Tompkins' claims pertaining to a $50 million verbal contract were entirely frivolous," Kimmell said. "In dismissing the case before trial, the court is sending a clear message."

"I'm very thankful for this decision," 50 added in the same statement. "I knew that once the facts were heard that justice would prevail. I hope now that we can put this behind us and move forward with our lives."

I guess The Game had to throw in his two cents in the Rick Ross 50 Cent battle.

The Game called Seattle's KUBE 93 on Thursday (February 5), and when DJ Eddie Francis asked him what he thought about beef between 50 Cent and Rick Ross, the Game had a shocking reply.

"For the first time in four years, I'm kind of low-key riding with 50 on this one," he said. "For the first time in four years, I'm siding with this dude."

The Game said things are not looking good for Ross. He laughed about the most recent 50 Cent video, in which 50 took the mother of Ross' son shopping after she revealed some personally damaging details about their relationship.

"He's taking [Ross'] baby momma shopping," the Game laughed. "She's trying on fur coats, and he got the Stevie Wonder jam in the background."

Since Rick Ross released "Mafia Music," the track that threw the initial jab at 50, he has been on the receiving end of a verbal beatdown. Fif released his own dis track, "Officer Ricky," and followed it with a taunting YouTube video. 50 also released an animated clip addressing Ross on ThisIs50.com.

The Game did offer to help Ross out, telling the Miami rapper to get in touch with him as soon as possible. "Rick Ross, reach out to my folks. If you can't, find Eddie Francis up in Seattle. Call him, and then have him call me up on three-way so I can get you up out of this mess.

According to Forbes magazine, 50 Cent is the second highest-earning African-American superstar, with an estimated earning of $150 million. This places him behind Oprah Winfrey and in front of movie mogul Tyler Perry.

KWAME GETS OUT OF JAIL

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was released from jail Tuesday morning after serving a 99-day sentence on perjury, misconduct and obstruction of justice charges stemming from a sex scandal.

The 38-year-old, about 25 pounds lighter than when he entered jail at the end of October, left the downtown Detroit facility wearing a dark suit just after 12:30 a.m., reports the Associated Press.

On the sidewalk, Kilpatrick stood for a long moment amid TV cameras, a horde of reporters and swirling snowflakes, smiling occasionally to those in the crowd who called his name and shouted: "We love you, Kwame! Detroit loves you, baby!"

A number of men, several dressed in fedoras and long coats, then escorted Kilpatrick to a waiting blue Chevrolet Suburban. The Democrat waved from behind tinted windows as he was whisked away as part of a multi-vehicle caravan.

During an impromptu sidewalk news conference, Kilpatrick's defense attorney Willie E. Gary spoke to his client's state of mind: "[Kilpatrick's] not bitter. He said he learned a lot. He said this has been an experience he'll never forget, and he thinks because of it he'll be a better person."

Kilpatrick was due to meet with state probation officials before heading to a job interview Wednesday with an unnamed company at an undisclosed location in Texas. His wife, Carlita, and three young sons, already have left Michigan. A judge has ordered that he return by Feb. 9.

"The job prospect is very, very, very favorable," Gary told reporters. "We want to make sure he can get, and land, the job. That's his first thing. He wants a job. That's what he is concerned about now. He wants to get with his family, get with his kids so he can start his life again."

The next five years, though, will be spent on probation and paying off the bulk of $1 million in restitution to the city. He also has had his law license revoked.

Mary J. Blige, Chris Rock, Jay-Z, and Warner Music chairman Lyor Cohen were among the guests gathered at a welcome home party for music mogul Andre Harrell, who had been hospitalized after undergoing heart surgery.

According to the New York Post, the 48-year old had an emergency quadruple heart bypass procedure to prevent him from succumbing to coronary artery heart disease.

Diddy, Harrell's former intern at his Uptown Records label, reportedly stayed at the hospital throughout Harrell's operation until he was successfully moved to the recovery room.

Oh no.....Weezy recently sat down for an interview with Katie Couric


Rapper Lil Wayne shares his love of bowling with "CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric for her pre-Grammy special set to air tomorrow, Wednesday (Feb. 4).

The artist, nominated for a leading eight Grammy awards, tells Couric that he owns four custom-made bowling balls in an effort to master the sport.

"If you talk to a professional bowler, he would explain or she'll explain how your own ball and your own shoes and perfect lanes are important," Wayne told Couric during the pre-taped special.

The 26-year-old also revealed that he bonds with his 10-year-old daughter Reginae by playing Wii tennis, bowling and golf with her.

The performer got so candid with Couric that he opened up about his illegal habit – smoking weed. "I will stand up for marijuana any day ... I'm a rapper. That's who I am, Miss Katie, and I am a gangster and I do what I want. And I love to smoke," he said.

Couric interviewed Wayne on Tuesday, bowling with him and inviting the rap superstar to watch from the control room as she anchored the "CBS Evening News."
