In an interview today with The Bert Show on Q100 Atlanta, Rihanna said that despite their battered past, she misses her ex...



"Places that we'd been to together, music...things that come up that remind you of your ex."

She continues: "I've gotten over it but there's definitely constant reminders and a lot of it is listening to the radio, and songs that were our favorite songs, or his songs."

When asked if she can still listen to his music, she says: "When it comes on the radio, I don't turn it off. I like his music."

CHRIS BROWN ON THE RIGHT PATH

TMZ reports that Chris Breezy was in court today. The judge looked at Breezy's progress report, which showed that he's completed 100 hours of community service and 52 domestic violence classes. Since everything looked all good, the hearing was over in seven minutes. The next progress report hearing is February 18.

OPRAH TO GO OFF AIR

Tim Bennett, the president of Harpo, Oprah's production company, has announced that the show will go off the air.



"Tomorrow, Oprah will announce live on The Oprah Winfrey Show that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history," the statement read. "The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011."

The Oprah Winfrey Show is currently the longest-running daytime television talk show in the United States, having run nationally since September 8, 1986.

NIVEA STILL PREGNANT

After published reports hit the net that Nivea gave birth this weekend - without baby daddy Lil Wayne - she hit twitter to clear things up...."Ok, I didn't have my baby yet unfortunately! So far evrything you've heard or read is false, sorry!"

NICOLE RICHIE HOSPITALIZED FOR PNEMONIA

After complaining of feeling badly for days, Nicole Richie was hospitalized for pneumonia at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.



On Sunday, Richie, 28, said on her Twitter page that she had been battling illness, writing, "ok cold, it's been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving."

And the following day, at a court hearing to get restraining orders against two paparazzi, Richie appeared subdued and her lawyer indicated to the judge that she wasn't feeling well.

Last week the star's rep shot down Internet rumors that she was suffering from the swine flu. Yesterday, her rep reported that she was "doing well."

USHER DATE BUMPED UP

First it was "Papers," now Usher is set to release his album "Raymond vs Raymond"....so blatant.



The release date just got bumped up to December 21.

Bryan Michael Cox told MTV:
"I think Usher is in a place where he really wants to express what's going on in his life, as any artist would," Cox said, referring to Usher's divorce from Tameka Foster-Raymond. "All the greats did it. Marvin Gaye did Here, My Dear. All the greats express where they are personally."

"I think [the new album] is where we are going to see Usher as an artist. I'm very curious to hear what the rest of the album is going to sound like," Cox said about Raymond vs. Raymond. "Our records are definitely in that lane of touching on what's going on in his life, so we are going to see what's going to happen. I'm very excited about the album. I think he has a lot to say."

GV Says: You know nothing is better than a man with a story, but have some class. He made such a big fuss about a black man being a father and husband to his black family. It's just ridiculous that he's so quick to trash all that now.

KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, one of basketball's all-time greatest players, announced Tuesday morning that he has cancer. The sports legend made the public disclosure nearly a year after being diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia.


Abdul-Jabbar, 62, was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in December 2008 after having hot flashes and sweats. His blood work revealed that his white blood cell count was "sky high," he said. Now taking medication for the blood disease, he is expected to have a regular life span.

"When the doctor told me I had cancer, I was scared," said Abdul-Jabbar. "My grandfather and my uncle both died from colorectal cancer, my dad almost died from it and I have the gene for it. It's in my family, so I thought this was something else along those lines, but it's not."

Abdul-Jabbar, a father of five, said he came forward after learning many patients don't regularly take their medication and skip appointments to the doctor.

"I'm telling my story to encourage fellow patients to take charge of their health," he said. "Work closely with your doctor, monitor your disease and, above all, take your medicine."

TONI BRAXTON SEPARATES

After much speculation, it's revealed that Toni Braxton is separated from her husband Keri Lewis, formerly of Mint Condition, after 8 years of marriage.



Looks like the rumor mill is suspecting that the lip lock with singer Trey Songz during the opening of the 2009 Soul Train Awards, which was taped Nov. 3 in Atlanta (the show will air on BET at 9 p.m. on Nov. 29) may have been the cause.

Officially, everyone from Memphis is saying Iverson left to deal with a personal issue, but everyone else in the NBA knows that issue is Iverson could not stand the seat from the bench at the start of the game.

Unfortunatley, it looks like Memphis is really trying to groom a young team, and that includes Mike Conley at point.

CHIMPANZEE VICTIM REVEALS HER FACE

Remember the lady who was attacked by the chimpanzee - Charla Nash - in February of this year? Well not only is she conscious but she appeared on "Oprah" today and revealed her face and shared the heartbreaking details on her life since the attack.

Nash told Oprah that she feels no pain but that she tries not to touch her face so as to avoid knowing the full extent of her injuries.

"I don't ask a whole lot about my injuries... I know that I have my forehead," she said. She now drinks her meals "with a straw through a small hole where her mouth used to be," ABC added.

Nash lost both her hands in the attack, as well as her nose, an eyelid, and lips. Doctors removed her eyes due to an infection, and only recently did she learn she'll no longer be able to see.

"Only . . . in the past couple of weeks did she realize that she no longer had eyes, because she had been saying that she was hoping to be able to see at some point," Oprah said.

Nash now walks around her Cleveland hospital — from which she might be released soon — in a veil.

SAMMY SOSA A COUPLE OF SHADES LIGHTER

All eyes have been on Sammy Sosa's light skin this week.

"I'm doing well, doing well, thanks to God. A little surprised by the tsunami of attention," Sosa said in a Spanish interview with Univision reporter Tony Dandrades Tuesday on the program "Primer Impacto." It was the first of a two-part interview.

Photographs of Sosa during a recent appearance at the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas showed his facial skin tone to be almost white.

"What's going on with your skin?" asked Dandrades. (GV Says: Pretty blatant....HA!)

"I use a cream to keep my skin smooth and soft. I apply it before I go to bed. When I was playing for Chicago all those years, I was in the sun a lot for 1 o'clock games," said Sosa, who turns 41 tomorrow. "The flashes (from the cameras) also made my skin look lighter. I'm surprised with the controversy this has caused."

Sosa, who would not tell Dandrades the name of the cream he uses, did say that it is European and that he is in negotiations to market the product. He added that he wears colored contact lenses because he wanted to "try something different. I'm not trying to be superficial."

Asked by Dandrades if Sosa was trying to be like Jackson, he laughed.

"Not at all, I respect him very much," said Sosa, who gave the interview at his Miami penthouse apartment on Monday. "I'm not a racist. I'm not like that. I'm just a happy person."

SHAQ HEADED TO DIVORCE COURT

Looks like Shaq and Shauni are headed to divorce court.....again

According to court papers, Va'shaundya "Shaunie" O'Neal filed for legal separation from the Cleveland Cavaliers player in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, TMZ.com reports.

She cites irreconcilable differences for the demise of her seven-year marriage to the 37-year-old athlete.

In addition to asking for an unspecified amount of money for spousal and child support, Shaunie is also seeking sole custody of the couple's four minor children, ages 3 to 9, with visitation rights for O'Neal.

Though the couple lives in Florida, Shaunie claimed she's a resident of California, which has more generous community property divorce provisions.

According to People.com, Shaunie recently flew to Los Angeles and claimed herself a resident of The Golden State on Nov. 8, one day before filing the separation papers.

This is the second split for Shaunie and Shaq, who originally filed for divorce in 2007.

The couple, who reportedly have a prenuptial agreement, eventually reconciled after a bitter dispute over whether or not he was hiding money from her.

J.LO WINS RESTRAINING ORDER

Jennifer Lopez has been granted a temporary restraining order preventing her former husband, Ojani Noa, from marketing risque home videos from their 11-month marriage.



Noa was in California Superior Court without a lawyer on Tuesday and claimed after Judge James C. Chalfant's ruling it was never his intention to sell the private camcorder footage. He said it was his intention to produce a Borat-style mocumentary about himself as a Cuban immigrant.

"She is destroying my life," Noa, vowing the videos were non-sexual and not for sale, told New York's Daily News immediately after the hearing. "This is another proof of her power and money trying to stop me from moving on with my life."

He added: "I'm not making any money from these videos," he said. "This is about having a closure. It's my story."

As described in reports, the video, called How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story, reputedly includes 1997 footage of Lopez, now 40, wearing skimpy clothing and supposedly being spanked by Noa. It reportedly also contains a fight between her and her mother.

In 2007, Lopez won a lawsuit that forbade him from publishing a tell-all book about their marriage. That book allegedly claimed Lopez frequently cheated on Noa, including with her current husband, Marc Anthony.

KIM GETS A NEW FACE

For a recent taping of E!'s Secret Celebrity, Kim Kardashian slipped on a prosthetic face.

Kim wrote on her website that it was "a real process" getting into character, adding that she had to get a molding of her face, "so I could have a prosthetic nose, cheeks, and neck put on!"

The gang at Secret Celebrity has "made casts of everyone from Tom Cruise to Angelina Jolie for movies!" Kardashian raves. "It was so surreal seeing all these famous movie stars' faces on the wall!! Kind of scary, huh?"

COOLIO REPLACES DMX

After backing out of a fight because promoters failed to fix the fight, looks like Coolio is in...

Thunder Productions tells TMZ they have signed Coolio to the upcoming celebrity boxing match scheduled to take place in Alabama next month. Reportedly, Coolio has been much easier to deal with and "he is going to take this seriously."

USHER DIVORCE FINALIZED

It's over....



The Superior Court in Fulton County, Georgia, issued a final decree last Wednesday in Usher's divorce case, legally ending his two-year marriage to Tameka Foster Raymond.

Usher, 31, filed for divorce in June, claiming the marriage was "irretrievably broken" with "no reasonable hope of reconciliation." The couple have two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond.

Shortly after Rihanna's 20/20 interview, Chris Brown issued the following statement:

"While I respect Rihanna's right to discuss the specific events of February 8," Brown says in a statement to MTV News, "I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us."

"I do appreciate [Rihanna's] support and wish her the best. I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions . . . Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God."
