CHRIS & RIHANNA BACK TOGETHER

Look who's back together. People mag reports

"They're together again. They care for each other," says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean "Diddy" Combs's homes.

Adds the source: "While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves."

In its latest issue, PEOPLE reports that Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday one week ago. "He called to wish her happy birthday," a source told the magazine. "They've reached out to each other. It's been mutual."

Brown was booked by LAPD for making criminal threats but the case has not yet been presented to the District Attorney, who will ultimately determine which charges, if any, will be prosecuted.

GV Says: Gotta say, I'm not surprised. Yesterday, while researching something totally different I randomly came across a videoed photo session of Rihanna. The camera caught a glimpse of none other than Chris Breezy. The look on his face was unbelievable pride at his "girl." As much as every fiber of my body feels what he did to her was totally inexcusable, I couldn't deny the love I saw on his face. I hope he gets the help he needs because that was no fight between those two. That was a beating and he was dead wrong for it. I hope they can make something positive out of since it's out in the open.

KHLOE SHUTS DOWN JAY-Z RUMORS

I guess a rumor surfaced that after a night of drinking and partying at M2 in NYC that Khloe Kardashian (yes....Kim's sister) and Hov might be getting it on. Khloe spoke to our good friends over at hiphollywood.com to quickly kill that notion:

PAPA SIMMONS

Los Angeles Superior Court judge Marjorie Steinberg signed off on an agreement Thursday giving Kimora Lee Simmons sole custody of the couple's two daughters, 9-year-old Ming and 6-year-old Aoki. The couple's divorce was finalized in January. Kimora Lee Simmons filed for divorce in March 2008, citing irreconcilable differences.

Russell Simmons, the 51-year-old hip-hop mogul, was granted visitation rights and must pay child support until each daughter reaches 19 and a half years of age.

DMX RELEASES A STATEMENT

After acting a fool in jail,

DMX released a statement for some reason yesterday saying in part, "Many of you know me as DMX but right now I am speaking to you as Earl Simmons ... For the record, I want to state 'I Did Not' physically touch or hit an officer. This is just another attempt to destroy my credibility."

GV Says: Are you kidding me....I think the crack destroyed his credibility.

CASE STILL BUILDING AGAINST CHRIS BREEZY

Looks like they're struggling to build a case against Chris Breezy....esp without his boo Rihanna

An initial arraignment date was set for March 5 following his arrest earlier this month for his altercation with Rihanna. But that court appearance "may not happen,” Los Angeles district attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison tells E! News.

“We don’t have the evidence yet. [Los Angeles police detectives] are still investigating,” says Robison, who doesn’t expect her office to receive the case until at least next week.

“If [detectives] determine they need more time they’ll set a new date for him to come into court,” says Robison.

Once the LAPD finishes its investigation and presents the D.A. with the evidence, Robison says prosecutors must decide whether to file felony charges, reject the charges if the evidence is insufficient, or refer the case to the city attorney’s office if they decide the behavior was simply a misdemeanor violation.

Depending on the decision, Brown may not even have to appear in court. “He only has to come back if and when we file charges,” says Robison.

On Wednesday, an LAPD source also told E! News, “The D.A. is being even more thorough than usual with this case. They don’t want to mess it up.”

Prosecutors ordered the LAPD to seek evidence for a variety of felonies, including domestic violence, assault resulting in great bodily injury and—based on specific allegations made by Rihannaeven attempted murder, a source close to the investigation told E! News.

But as they build their case, the source says, prosecutors fear that making any serious felony charges stick could prove difficult in a case where there are no direct witnesses other than Rihanna and Brown.

While he has yet to face any formal charges, Brown has reportedly made a preemptive move to repair his shattered good-guy image.

According to the New York Daily News, the 19-year-old R&B star attended his first session this week in the Los Angeles area.

Should he be charged and convicted, such a course would almost be a certain part of his sentence.

The enrollment is said to have been masterminded by publicist/crisis manager Michael Sitrick, whom Brown hired in the wake of his arrest.

A HEALTHIER RIHANNA EMERGES

A healthier Rihanna has emerged.

NY Daily News reports...

Beaten-up beauty Rihanna donned a bikini and soaked up some Mexican sun a day after her 21st birthday.

The shocking bruises that sources say boyfriend Chris Brown left on the songbird's face just before the Grammy Awards were not visible in exclusive photographs obtained by the Daily News (see print edition for photos).

Nor was she smiling.

Her grim expression, so at odds with the balmy setting, hinted at the heartbreak the "Umbrella" singer has endured since her private agony became public knowledge.

Rihanna's family was furious after a photograph of her battered face was leaked, and the singer was determined to get out of Los Angeles.

Shortly before she split last Thursday, Rihanna released a note to her fans telling them "she remains strong."

Then, with a couple of close friends, Rihanna decamped for a private beachside villa in Punta Mita.

Brown, a 19-year-old R&B singer, was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats against Rihanna after the Feb. 8 attack. He has since enrolled in anger management classes.

GV Says: This article was written a little dramatically, but I think we get the jist.....RiRi's doing better. Good for her.

DEBORAH COX GIVES BIRTH TO BABY #3

Singer Deborah Cox gave birth to her third child on Monday, a daughter named Kaila Michelle, according to Reuters.

The baby was born at 11:55 a.m. at a Miami hospital to Cox and her husband/manager Lascelles Stephens. She weighed in at 7.7 lbs.

“She’s perfect and we feel very blessed,” said the Toronto-born singer in a statement. The couple has two other children, Isaiah, 5, and Sumayah, 2.

CHRIS IN ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASS

Looks like Chris Breezy's camp has gone back to their cocky ways. The NY Daily News reports:

Chris Brown is taking anger-management classes.

The troubled R&B singer, who was arrested two weeks ago on suspicion of making criminal threats against girlfriend Rihanna, attended his first class in Glendale, Calif., on Monday afternoon.

According to a source, Brown opted for anger management at the behest of his spin doctor, Michael Sitrick. "Chris doesn't actually have to go by law," our insider tells us, "but he believes it will make him look better to the public, and he wants to try to get in a few classes before March 5," his court date.

The Feb. 7 incident - in which Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna and left her with cuts and bruises to her forehead, lips and cheeks - didn't just stir up controversy. It tarnished Brown's good-guy image so badly that several of his endorsement deals were suspended, including commercials for Wrigley's gum and the Milk Mustache campaign. Brown's songs have also been temporarily taken off the air at a handful of radio stations.

But insiders are rumbling that Chris shouldn't be taking the anger management classes alone. "Rihanna is temperamental, too," says our snitch. "They're both too hot-headed for their own good."

Adds another source: "It didn't help that Rihanna grabbed the keys out of his rented Lamborghini and threw them down the street. She knew it would really infuriate Chris, and it worked."

Look for a Chris/Rihanna reunion soon, though - at least physically. The songbird, who celebrated her 21st birthday on Friday and is hanging out at home in Barbados, will be L.A.-bound to attend Brown's trial.

"She'll be there - she has to testify," confirms our snitch, who doesn't foresee any jail time for Brown. "If Chris is convicted, it would be his first offense. He won't go to prison. "

GV Says: I see they're still blaming Rihanna for this..."It didn't help that Rihanna grabbed the keys out of his rented Lamborghini and threw them down the street. She knew it would really infuriate Chris, and it worked."

I still say there's no excuse for the butt whipping she took. It'll be interesting to see how March 5 goes down.

NO LOVE FOR LIL WAYNE

A Manhattan judge shot down rapper Lil' Wayne's bid to toss a gun case lodged against him - and instead set a trial date.

Defense lawyer Stacey Richman tried to quash the July 2007 arrest, claiming a cop lied about smelling marijuana wafting out of the Grammy winner's tour bus and used it as an excuse to board.

"The motion is denied," Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon told the 26-year-old rapper on Tuesday.

KANYE WITH A NEW BOO

So I really thought this was going to blow over.....but,

Kanye West and Amber Rose continue to live it up during London Fashion week.

GV Says: I'm sorry. I can't see this one.

BOW WOW SHOCKED AT RIHANNA PHOTO

Bow Weezy speaks on Chris Breezy revealing he was shocked by Rihanna's bruised and battered face.

"Just shocking," Bow Wow reportedly told OK! magazine. "I mean, we heard what happened but we really didn't get a visual for it. But I mean, hey, man. The picture speaks for itself."

"I mean, being in the business, the first thing is, 'Ah, it's false, another rumor, bloggers just wanting to have traffic to their site,' " he said. "But when the story was unfolding, it was kind of shocking to all. Chris is a good friend of mine. We've had the opportunity to tour together. And then Rihanna, she's just a beautiful person. Period. Never done no wrong to nobody."

But Bow Wow, who was the target of much speculation during his teenage romance with Ciara, pleaded for the singers' privacy until the facts of the case are more well known.

"I've been in a high profile relationship before and I know how it feels when everybody's in your business," he said. "It just puts more pressure. And the only way they're going to get over the situation is just to let them deal with it. And that's what I really want to do. I'm praying for them both.

"At the end of the day," he continued, "I've always believed in whatever happens with people's business ... my mom always told me don't get into [it]. And the situation is so major I think they just need their space and I think they need to deal with it."

50 CENT ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE

So since everyone else has put the 2 cents in on the Chris Brown, Rihanna saga why can't 50 Cent.

On his Web site, ThisIs50.com, Fif has made references to the pair's recent, apparently violent incident in the "Pimpin' Curly" series as well as in his Saturday morning animated disses to Rick Ross. He featured Ross as a cop and Chris and Rihanna as characters from the game "Street Fighter." "Officer Ricky" eventually arrests Brown and tosses him in jail along with Suge Knight.

"I thought that was something you could use for humor, like any other comedian would utilize current events to put into their actual [presentation], being humorous a little bit," 50 explained while promoting his new video game, "50 Cent: Blood on the Sand," which hit stores Tuesday. "I put [reference to the incident] in a 'Pimpin' Curly' skit a little bit. From the perspective of the character, I mentioned it."

50 says those comedic references were made prior to TMZ posting a photograph of a badly beaten Rihanna. He immediately changed his mind about making light of the situation.

"After I saw the photograph, that wasn't funny anymore," 50 said. "I didn't have any information on it. You're just going on what the public actually had. It shifts the whole thing. Even if you're saying you're in a dysfunctional relationship, I understand that. There's a point when you're already past a woman fighting you back. You look at [the picture], and it's obviously past that point. There's some issues there that definitely gotta be addressed. Not to take any shots at Chris or Rihanna or take sides in any way, [but] it's really not cool. It's not funny anymore, so there will definitely be no more reference to that from me in any way."

GV Says: Stop the presses....I hate to admit it, but I actually agree with him. Like 50 said....the image I saw on TMZ was past the point of a mutual fight. Right or wrong even if Rihanna put her hands on Chris, he went too far. Also, while I believe the release of the photo violated Rihanna's privacy, it did bring home the reality of domestic violence. It stopped all the silly comments from Chris' family about how it wasn't that bad or how he had to be provoked. There was no missing the damage and pain that was obvious.

CHRIS TRYING TO GET OUT THE DOGHOUSE

The NY Daily News reports that Rihanna gathered a celeb-free circle of friends Friday to celebrate her 21st birthday. And while her ex, Chris Brown, wasn’t on the guest list, she couldn’t escape him completely.

“Chris called Rihanna to wish her a happy birthday,” an insider tells us. “He’s absolutely trying to get back into her good graces. He knows he’s very much in the doghouse right now, and is doing everything he can to show her how sorry he is.”

But Brown seems to think a few well-placed birthday gifts can salve his ex’s wounds. He has already sent the “Good Girl Gone Bad” singer a diamond bracelet and necklace, an insider tells us, as well as an iPod Touch. Plus, Brown’s mom, Joyce, who is said to adore Rihanna, sent over a bouquet of flowers.

Sound creepy? Unfortunately, the attention seems to be working. RiRi may just reconcile with Brown, say sources.

“Rihanna so wanted Chris with her on her big day, but obviously realizes why they can’t be together right now,” our insider says. “But it’s becoming more and more clear that she can’t be without him.”

For the time being, the singer’s friends are helping keep her free of her allegedly abusive ex. Friday’s party — held in a rented house in the Hollywood Hills — had a Monte Carlo-worthy casino theme, with professional croupiers brought in to deal for the pop princess and a few choice friends. “Her theme was ‘Blackjack 21’ and all the guests gambled,” says our snitch. “And although there was alcohol available, Rihanna wasn’t drinking.”

The gorgeous songbird had something to celebrate besides her B-day — she’s healing quickly from her recent injuries. “She hasn’t scarred or anything,” our insider reports. “She was in a great mood. She was really celebrating not just her birthday, but life in general.”

Following the intimate gathering, Rihanna hopped into a waiting car and jetted off to her native Barbados, where she finished out her birthday weekend with her mom.

NE-YO SPEAKS ON CHRIS & RIHANNA

Ne-yo, who is a close friend of both Rihanna and Chris Brown, has spoken out on the recent events involving the two singers.

"I wanted to talk to them before I made a comment....I spoke to Rihanna. She says she's fine. She didn't go into detail about what happened. I understand it's a painful situation; I didn't push."

"I saw the picture," he said solemnly. "That just really — that hurt me to my heart, man. Again, I still don't know what happened, 'cause I haven't had the opportunity to talk to Chris yet. But to take it to that level really hurt my heart. All I can say is, I'm praying for both of them. They're both in my prayers. I haven't had a chance to talk to Chris yet. I just wanna sit down and talk to that dude and just explain if he doesn't understand: 'That's not something that's excusable, bruh. You have to get a little smarter about whatever it is going on in your relationship. You have to get a little smarter about how you handle certain situations.' "

Still, Ne-Yo refused to be Brown's judge and jury. "I'm not going to crucify him," Ne-Yo said. "I'm not going to do that. That's still my homeboy at the end of the day. For it to go to that level was wrong. I won't say who was responsible. I won't pick no sides. I'm just saying it was wrong [that] it had to happen like that, and I'm praying for the both of them."

BALFOUR'S LAWYER QUITS

Less than a month after a judge agreed to move William Balfour closer to Chicago so the man charged with murdering Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew could more easily consult with his lawyer, that attorney has quit the case.

Kutnick told the Chicago Sun-Times paper that although he believes Balfour is innocent of the crime, he cannot afford to shoulder the burden of the high-profile case alone. "It's the kind of case that involves intense hours," Kutnick said, reportedly after breaking the news to Balfour's mother. "I was gathering all resources, but I couldn't finance it."

Balfour, 27, who was transferred from the Statesville Correctional Center in Joliet, Illinois, to the Cook County Jail in late January at Kutnick's request, was scheduled to have a new lawyer from the public defender's office appointed to his case Monday.

Balfour is charged with killing Oscar-winning actress/singer Hudson's mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew at their Chicago home in October. He has pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder and one count of home invasion. Kutnick had said there is no forensic evidence linking his former client to the killings.

OSCAR LOOKS

Here are some of my favorite looks from the 81st Annual Academy Awards last night. Slumdog Millionaire was the big winner of the night as it racked up eight Academy Awards.

Viola Davis and Taraji Henson. I must admit I have a little gaudiness in me and it loves the metallic feel of Viola's dress.

I love Sarah Jessica Parker's fairy tale look

Penelope Cruz who picked up an award for Best Supporting Actress

Anne Hathaway

Here are some other attendees you're familiar with:

A. Keys. She's been a little low key since the whole Swizz Beatz saga

B....girl this look is a mess.

John Legend and his boo

LAURYN HILL EXPECTING????

GUESS WHO'S EXPECTING...AGAIN

So guess who's expecting again.....Nicole Richie.

Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden are expecting another child, barely a year after the arrival of daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden last Jan. 11.

In a message on the Web site of Good Charlotte, the band he fronts, Madden, 29, wrote, "I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister! God has truly blessed my family. Hope [you're] all feeling as good as i am right now." Madden's message is titled "Better than winning an OSCAR!"

RIHANNA'S DAD BLASTS LAPD

After a photo of a battered and bruised Rihanna hit the net, her father speaks out.

"Yeah, I saw it," Ronald Fenty told Us magazine in a telephone interview Friday morning. "It's disturbing."

However, Fenty said people now will be able to "grasp the situation a lot better.

"It's good and it's bad to see the picture because there's other people who were thinking differently, that [Rihanna's injuries] may not be that bad, just a little spank or a little thing."

Los Angeles Police have launched an internal investigation Thursday to determine who leaked the photo.

"The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence," the LAPD said in a statement Thursday. "A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination."

GV Says: I think heads should roll for releasing that photo. I just found it incredibly disturbing.

RIHANNA SPEAKS

After the web went into a tailspin after seeing the battered and bruised face of Rihanna, her publicist released a statement letting fans know that all is well.

"At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time."

The statement comes on her 21st birthday and a day after she was spotted in Los Angeles after spending nearly two weeks in seclusion.

The singer was photographed Thursday heading to an airport the same night a graphic photo reportedly showing her battered face surfaced on the Internet, upsetting her father, who criticized police for their "sloppy work."

Prior to the statement, neither Rihanna nor her representatives had commented since the arrest of Brown, 19, on Feb. 8

On Friday, friends in Rihanna's native Barbados marked her birthday by taking out an ad in the local paper wishing her a happy 21st. The message reads:

"Happy 21 Birthday to Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
Amidst all the negativity about Ri Ri.
God will continue to bless her.
That's why you are so great, Ri Ri.
From Sharon, Shane, Kim and Rashane.
We love you."

GV Says: What a way to spend your birthday. Hate that for her.

PICTURES OF RIHANNA POSTED

Readers, I'm going to keep it 100% with you. This picture is quite disturbing to me and whoever said what Breezy did wasn't that bad was a lie.

At one point this week I began to believe the hype, as his friends and relatives insisted that Rihanna's injuries were exaggerated but I must say the pictures are in line with the earlier descriptions. I REFUSE to post it, but here's the link to the source.

TMZ.com

This pic is bad news bears for Chris Breezy. I'm shocked that this picture was even able to be recovered in a domestic violence case.

CHRIS BROWN CHALLENGED TO FIGHT

In light of recent reports regarding Chris Brown's alleged attack on girlfriend Rihanna, Anthony Geisler, President of LA Boxing (the world’s largest boxing, kickboxing andmizws martial artstraining organization) has challenged Chris to step into the ring against him and see what it’s like to face a real opponent. Mr. Geisler has also launched an “I want to Fight Chris Brown” Facebook Group, providing an open forum for others who wish to show Chris their moves.

FAMILY SPEAKS ABOUT RIHANNA

Rihanna's family is speaking out about her relationship with Chris Breezy

Members of Rihanna's family in her native Barbados thought boyfriend Chris Brown "flew so far under everyone's radar that we just didn't think he was that [abusive] type," a relative tells PEOPLE for its new cover story, on sale Friday.

Brown was arrested Feb. 8 for allegedly assaulting Rihanna in Los Angeles. He has issued a statement of apology, saying he would seek therapy, and he may face charges from the district attorney.

The turn of events comes as a shock to the family. "He was always looking after her needs," says the relative, "making sure she was happy."

Rihanna, who turns 21 on Friday, and Brown, 19, were a "perfect match," an MTV veejay tells PEOPLE. Now their future together is unknown.

But as far as her father, Ronald Fenty, is concerned, when it comes to Brown, his daughter should "move on." A relative agrees: "I don't want her to go back to him. I don't think anyone does."

TAMEKA BACK IN THE STATES

Tameka Foster is back in the states

After Wednesday's announcement that she left a Brazil hospital on Monday, photos of her departure were released on Thursday.

Tameka was seen at the Airport of Guarulhos, reportedly heading back home to the United States.

She had spent 11 days recovering from a cardiac arrest suffered immediately prior to undergoing plastic surgery.

"She left the hospital on Monday night," Mirtes Bogea, a spokeswoman for the Sirio-Libanes Hospital, told PEOPLE. "We do not have any more information about her condition."

Ellen Dastry, a spokeswoman for plastic surgeon Silvio Sterman, who was to perform the "simple liposuction," said last week that Raymond, 38, suffered a cardiac arrest while being anesthetized for the procedure at Sao Paulo's Sao Rafael Hospital.

Less than a minute later, Raymond was revived with heart massage and placed in an induced coma before being moved to the intensive-care unit, said Dasptry

KANYE SEX ADDICTION DRIVES WORK ETHIC??

In the latest issue of Details magazine, Kanye West links his sex drive to his work ethic....????....

"People ask me a lot about my drive," he tells the magazine. "I think it comes from, like, having a sexual addiction at a really young age. Look at the drive that people have to get sex—to dress like this and get a haircut and be in the club in the freezing cold at 3 a.m., the places they go to pick up a girl. If you can focus the energy into something valuable, put that into work ethic..."

As a kid, West combined his sexual addiction with another one of his favorite childhood pasttimes: video games. The artist said he produced his first "Super Mario Bros.: The Penis Remix" in the seventh grade:

"My game was very sexual. The main character was, like, a giant penis. It was like Mario Brothers, but the ghosts were, like, vaginas. Mind you, I'm 12 years old, and this is stuff 30-year-olds are programming," he says. "You'd have to draw in and program every little step—it literally took me all night to do a step, 'cause the penis, y'know, had little feet and eyes."

West also took time to talk about his perceived greatness. "Put this in the magazine: There's nothing more to be said about music. I'm the f**king end-all, be-all of music. …Oh my God, I'm one of the greatest rappers in the world. I'll get on a track and completely ee-nihilate that track, I'll eat it and rip it in half. I wouldn't have to think of it. …I have, like, nuclear power, like a superhero, like Cyclops when he puts his glasses on."

GV Says: WTF....back to the same old Kanye

BRANDY'S OFFER REJECTED

Brandy's settlement offer in the car accident that resulted in the death of another driver has been rejected. TMZ reports..

The man whose wife died in the Brandy car crash has rejected a big settlement — and his lawyers have had enough of him.

You’ll recall Awatef Aboudihaj was killed in 2006 after her car was struck by Brandy’s Range Rover on the 405 Freeway in L.A.

The victim’s husband, Marouane Hdidou, their two kids, the victim’s parents and another car accident victim got a $1.2 million settlement offer. Under the deal, the insurance company would pay $1 million and Brandy would personally pay $200,000. Hdidou rejected the offer and the deal went south.

Hdidou’s lawyers have had it, claiming their client’s cut would have been $300,000, which they call “excellent.”

They say he just won’t listen to reason so they want off the case.

USHER'S WIFE RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

Tameka Foster-Raymond, Usher's wife, was released from a hospital in Brazil after spending 11 days recovering from a cardiac arrest she suffered shortly before she was about to undergo plastic surgery, according to The Associated Press.

A spokeswoman for the Sirio-Libanes Hospital in Sao Paulo told AP Wednesday (February 18) that Foster-Raymond left the facility Monday night, but declined to provide any details on Raymond's treatment at the family's request. The spokewoman spoke on condition of anonymity per hospital policy.

Ellen Dastry, a spokeswoman for the doctor who was to perform the plastic surgery, told People magazine last week that Foster-Raymond suffered a cardiac arrest while being anesthetized ahead of a "simple liposuction" at Sao Paulo's Sao Rafael Hospital.

"Tameka Raymond came here on Friday to do a liposuction. Shortly after she went under [general] anesthesia, she suffered a cardiac arrest," said Ellen Dastry, a representative for plastic surgeon Silvio Sterman, who was to have performed the surgery. Foster-Raymond was revived after less than a minute using heart massage.

Foster-Raymond, 38, never had the procedure, and after the cardiac arrest, doctors immediately put her into a medically induced coma to stabilize her. "When an attack like this happens, the doctors put the patient to sleep ... and make sure that everything is OK and that there has not been any damage," Dastry said. "This is the protocol every time and this is what was done." Foster-Raymond spent a day in the intensive care unit and was transferred to another hospital, considered one of Brazil's finest. After a week of recovery, she is "doing very well," according to Dastry.

GV Says: I'm still puzzled why we had to go all the way to Brazil. Was this supposed to be on the DL? Or were we supposed to believe that she worked out? I think we all knew her stomach was a mess from the last pregnancies....remember THIS.

I found this in the NY Daily News: According to José Tariki, president of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, a patient should only undergo liposuction six to eight months after giving birth.

"After a pregnancy, the abdomen muscle is violently stretched, becomes flacid and swells," he says. "The patient needs six to eight months to return to normal and only then can undergo surgery."

Interesting....

RIHANNA STILL HANGING ON??

Quite a few sources are reporting that Rihanna hasn't yet decided to let go. The singer is expected to be back in the states today. Star mag reports....

Chris Brown left her bruised and battered, but, according to friends, Rihanna can't help her deep feelings for her boyfriend of more than a year.

In the March 2 issue of Star — on sale now — we report that, to the shock of many, the singer has stayed in touch with her battering beau — and her unhealthy devotion to him is making those close to the abused singer worried sick.

"She keeps saying she wants to make sure that he's okay," a friend tells Star. "She thinks this will all just blow over and they can go back to how they were."

We have details about exactly what Rihanna said to Chris before he attacked her -- as well as an interview with an earwitness who heard Rihanna's piercing screams on the night of her shocking assault.

GV Says: Take that one with a grain of salt.

OH SOLANGE

Solange has had an interesting week....first nipple gate now syrup scare.

On Tuesday, Solange Knowles was rushed to the hospital after the singer fainted at the airport on her way home from New York Fashion Week. The singer, who was hospitalized for dehydration and low blood pressure, announced the news on Twitter.

"Woke up to 8 random people over me, laid out on the floor in baggage claim!" Knowles posted on her Twitter page Wednesday (February 18). "Guess I passed out! Scary. Hooked up to IV now. Apparently I'm super dehydrated."

Beyoncé's little sister said she began to feel ill after she took some cough medicine. "I took a Nyquil, and I think maybe I'm getting high off it because I'm not sleeping," she wrote. "Everything's movvvvviinnngg slooooowww, LOL."

Solange's mom, Tina, visited her at the hospital before she was released. "My mom is the best. LOL," Knowles wrote. "She's like, Ain't nothing wrong with this girl. She need some water and rest ... pull up the car! LOL."

Knowles also took to her Twitter page to talk about a fashion mishap that took place at the Toni Maticevski fashion show, where she accidentally revealed some skin under her sheer top. "I always wear undies, never been carried out of the club drunk, I won't even pose for King or any 'eye candy' type shoots, and now look," she wrote. "My sh-- on display for all the world to see. I'm wearing turtlenecks for the rest of the year, gosh dammit."

Reached for comment, a rep for the singer sent the following statement: "Solange was treated for dehydration following a flight from New York to L.A. She is fine and resting at home. She will launch her tour on Sunday, February 22 as planned."

GV Says: Lol....Gotta love this girl.

NY POST TAKES SWIPE AT OBAMA

To no surprise, the NY Post has ran a cartoon indirectly taking a swipe at President Obama - and yes African Americans.

At face value, the cartoon appears to be referencing the recent ape attack that occurred in Connecticut. However, it's the text of the cartoon that points the drawing into a racist view.

The Rev. Al Sharpton is demanding that The New York Post, which has come under fire in the past for racially tinged cartoons, explain what it meant in its latest controversial offering.

Played prominently on today’s editorial pages, the cartoon depicts two police officers – one with his smoking gun drawn – standing over what appears to be a dead chimpanzee in a pool of blood. One officer says to the other: “Now they’ll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill.”

Is begs the question: Are they referring to the dead chimp as the president of the United States?

Without jumping to conclusions I tried to determine what the $787 billion stimulus package signed into law yesterday and the police shooting of a raging mad chimpanzee have in common.

The Rev. Al Sharpton appears to be a bit puzzled as well. “Being that the stimulus bill has been the first legislative victory of President Barack Obama (the first African American president) and has become synonymous with him it is not a reach to wonder whether the Post cartoonist was inferring that a monkey wrote it?”

The Rev. Al Sharpton is demanding that The New York Post, which has come under fire in the past for racially tinged cartoons, explain what it meant in its latest controversial offering.

“On its face, it appears that the Post is not only calling Obama an ape, but a dead ape. “The cartoon in today’s New York Post is troubling at best, given the racist attacks throughout history that have made African-Americans synonymous with monkeys,” Sharpton writes on his National Action Network Web site. “One has to question whether the cartoonist is making a less than casual inference to this form of racism when, in the cartoon, the police say after shooting a chimpanzee, ‘now they will have to find someone else to write the stimulus bill, Sharpton writes.

SUGE KNIGHT ATTACKED....AGAIN

TMZ has learned that Suge Knight has been knocked the F out yet again.

Marion "Suge" Knight was allegedly beaten up early Monday morning in Scottsdale, Ariz., and the alleged assailant is affiliated with pop star Akon.

Suge was reportedly attending the 944 Magazine All-Star Weekend wrap-up celebration at the W Hotel hosted by Akon. Cops say they were called to the scene by hotel security who said a fight seemed likely to jump off between two groups in the VIP section.

According to the Scottsdale PD, cops arrived to see a man punch Suge "two times in the head." Officers said they used tasers to "quell the fight." Suge was transported to a local hospital and treated for facial injuries.

The suspect, Robert Carnes Jr., was charged with one count of felony aggravated assault. It was ruled a felony "due to the severity of the victim's injuries." Another man was also arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Police initially said that Carnes was Akon's business manager. But the singer's publicist released the following statement in response: "He is not Akon's business manager, David Bolno is. He is with Akon's camp."

If you remember, Suge was knocked out last May at LA's Shag nightclub by a barber from South Central.

GV Says: Is this what happens in the music industry when you fall off....people just come up and whip that a**?

A.I. FINALLY CUTS THOSE BRAIDS

Finally, A.I. has joined the millennium and cut those braids

A.I. showed up at the Eastern Conference’s All-Star practice with a new coif. After 12 years, the ball player finally cut his locks. Precisely, how long did it take for him to get that memo. I know his scalp thanks him! Talk about being the old man at the club.

KIMORA HITS BARBIE SHOW

Kimora and Djimon hit up the Barbie Fashion Show with Aoki & Ming Lee.

As did Rachel Roy and daughter Ava

RIHANNA'S DAD SAYS SINGER OKAY

In an interview with PEOPLE, Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, said that when he first heard that his daughter had been attacked by Chris Brown, "I didn't believe it.

"I know my daughter," said Fenty, 55. As for Brown, he said, "You think you know somebody, but you really don't."

Brown, 19, allegedly attacked Rihanna, 20, in Los Angeles last Sunday. He was arrested and may face charges from the district attorney.

Describing Rihanna's current condition after seeing her on Thursday, Fenty said, "There is some bruising. She will be all right. I think so."

He adds, "At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world."

Fenty, a salesman and freelance clothing designer, said Rihanna is spending time with girlfriends while she heals. While Fenty said he wouldn't tell his daughter what to do, he did say, "If it were me, I'd move on."

The last time Fenty had seen Rihanna and Brown together was in July. "They seemed pretty happy," he recalls. "I don't know what went wrong."

GV Says: So I'm sure you're wondering what's the story w/ Rihanna's dad....why so calm. I suspect - and keep in mind this is just my two cents - that his calm demeanor comes from his checkered past. Typically people who have been to the bottom and back and have some compassion for those who are currently dwelling there. Her father is a recovering crack addict. I also suspect that Rihanna is not quite over Chris.

JAY-Z SPEAKS ON RIHANNA

Looks like Jay-Z has officially weighed in on the Rihanna, Chris Brown saga.

"This is a real situation. You have to have compassion for others. Just imagine it being your sister or mom and then think about how we should talk about that."

"I just think we should all support her. She's going through a tough time. You have to realize she's a young girl, as well. She's very young."

Asked if he'd seen Rihanna, Jay-Z replied, "I don't want to go into it."

CHRIS BROWN ISSUES A STATEMENT

The following statement was issued Sunday by a spokesman on behalf of Chris Brown:

"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person.

"Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong.

"While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else.

"Those posts or writings under my name are frauds."

GV Says: Interesting that he chose to dispute the Facebook shenanigan.

CHRIS BROWN'S BIOLOGICAL FATHER SPEAKS UP

Chris Brown's father - Clinton Brown - speaks up for his son.

"He's reflecting on this situation," Brown, 44, a corrections officer, [says] an interview at his home outside Tappahannock, Va. "He's very remorseful. He's very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that [Rihanna's] okay.

"This is unfortunate, this stumble, this situation," Brown continues. "Hopefully, he will get past it. We all have our shortcomings. We all trip."

And Brown – who flew to Los Angeles to attend the Grammys with his son but never made it to the show – says there are "two sides to every story."

"If you are on his side, you are on his side," he says. "Just because someone trips, if you are truly a fan, you are not going to demonize him instantaneously."

The 19-year-old singer is under police investigation in Los Angeles for allegedly beating Rihanna, 20, early last Sunday morning.

Bouncing Back?

Brown says he spoke to his son in person on Feb. 12. "Let's just say he's home," Brown said, though he never offered a specific location. "Just know that he's home. He needed some time to get his thoughts together and regroup."

Calling his son a "lovable young man," Brown says he worries about the public backlash following the allegations of assault his son faces.

"This music industry is very unforgiving when it comes to having indiscretions," Brown says. "He will continue to be a good person. He loves people. And like most of us, most humans, things will occur. And hopefully a person won't be judged simply on that alone."

A Good Son

Like Chris's friends, who have spoken about Brown's easygoing nature, his father says Brown was well liked in school. "He had plenty of friends," he says. "All the kids gravitated to Chris."

As for how he feels about his son, Brown says, "As a father, I couldn't be more proud … He's the light of my life."

And, he notes, as a teenager, he still has a lot of maturing to do. "I think he's [going to] grow as an individual," he says. "He's going to take from this situation and learn from it."

GV Says: This is really a sad story. Honestly, I really can't see him as this deviant man. But there's obviously some sort of rage in him that he needs to get help for. Although there are two sides to every story, the injuries that girl sustained was truly a beating and uncalled for in any light - there's no denying that.....black eye, bite marks, busted lip, bloody nose, bruises...come on people.
