More details have emerged around Tameka Raymond's Brazilian surgery scare.

The Brazilian news Web site G1 reported that Tameka Foster was rushed to the Sirio-Libanes Hospital's intensive care unit last Friday after a medical emergency that took place during a liposuction procedure.

She allegedly suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest as she was being anesthetized for the cosmetic surgery, according to the Web site. Foster had reportedly been put into a medically-induced coma for 24 hours and is currently recovering.

G1 reported that a U.S. neuro-surgeon from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Gabriel Hunt, is handling her case. He left the Sao Paulo hospital late Monday without giving comment.
