SINGER ASHANTI WINS COURT SETTLEMENT

A federal judge in New York said pop star Ashanti and her former producer, Genard Parker, have agreed to drop their lawsuits against each other.

"I'm very pleased that the plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the case against us," the New York Post quoted the Grammy Award-winning singer as saying. "I'd rather be in the studio recording or writing."
