CIARA CLEARS UP THE RUMORS

So I guess someone at MTV was wondering what is up with my girl CiCi too.

After breaking up with Bow Weezy, Ciara is one of the hottest girls on the market. She’s been rumored to be dating 50 Cent and NFL star Reggie Bush. Well girlfriend threw gas in the fire on Tuesday night at the BET Awards when she sat beside 50 and appeared on stage a robe that read “25.”
Some have said that, because she's rumored to be dating 50 Cent, the 25 was a nod to their relationship. (Get it? Half of 50 is 25.) Others have said that, since she has also been linked to Reggie Bush, she might have been trying to tease her alleged relationship with the New Orleans Saints player who is .....you guessed it.......#25.

However, Cici told MTV reporters the 25 was a question to her placement on BET’s Top 25 Dancers list where she landed at #25. Apparently, she didn’t like the fact that Prince and even Missy Elliott were slotted above her.

Do I buy this story……I’d like to believe it. I definitely don’t think she’s dating 50, but Reggie is questionable.

T.I. FINALLY KEEPS IT REAL WITH TINY

In the August issue of Vibe, which is set to hit newsstands next week, T.I. finally kept it real about “ride or die chick” Tiny - "she means to me what my mother meant to me as a kid." He added, "Somebody that you know is consistently there, has your best interests at heart, and if ain't nobody else there in the world, [she] gon' be there. [Tiny's] filled that spot in my life."

In May, T.I. told MTV News that two had broken up, but the couple has obviously reconciled.

50 & CIARA...YEAH RIGHT...

So, here’s the pic that’s been released from Cici’s new video, “Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone,” featuring 50 Cent. The two of them were even sitting next to each other at the BET Awards last night (June 26th). Girl quit playing. I don’t believe for a second that you and 50 are an item.

So Usher finally admits it....he and Tameka are preggers. This article appeared on Yahoo news:

Usher is expecting bigger things than a new album — the superstar announced Wednesday that he and fiancee Tameka Foster are expecting their first child together.
"We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning our wedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first child together," the couple said in a statement released to The Associated Press. "We hope people will be happy for us and respect our privacy during this happy period in our lives."

The baby is due in the fall, according to a representative for Usher.

This would be the first child for the R&B crooner/actor, and the fourth for the recently divorced Foster.

Here's my two cent about the 2007 BET Awards.....because I can.



Best Dressed
Rihanna….She looked poised and glamorous.

Luda……Loved his blazer and white ensemble. He looked crisp and clean.

Best Moment
T.I. apologizing for his “unroyal” behavior. I was hoping he would use his win for ‘Best Hip-Hop Performer’ as an opportunity to address his behavior earlier in the week. Even Luda smiled. I guess he was pleasantly surprised as well. Oh….and did you notice that Tiny was right by his side. Those two need to quite playing and jump the broom.

Best Performance
Beyonce. Say what you want….She may be saturating the market with her appearances, but girlfriend knows how to put on a show…..Love it.

Ciara. Girlfriend, you got it crunk in there! And is she in shape or what…..Bow Weezy, are you sick or what????

Erykah Badu. She’s the truth. She just jams no matter what. She can really give any song an unprecedented soulful feel.

Worst Performance
Diddy. What kind of buffoonery was that? Diddy’s lip-syncing and ‘Carlton’ style dancing was so boarderline and unbearable. Once I saw Lil Kim joining in with the ‘Carlton’ dance, I just had to walk out of the room. It was just too much wackness to bear. Oh…and did Keyshia Cole realize that the BET Awards were tonight? She looked a mess…..as usual….sorry, but it’s true. (Keyshia, you know I love you.)

Chaka Khan. Now don’t get me wrong. I love me some Chaka, but I think it’s time for her to hang up the mic. First there was the Kanye West fiasco, now she out does herself and just about forgets the words in her Diana Ross tribute. Can we just enjoy Chaka in her prime and listen to her oldie but goodie songs?

Most Disappointing Performances
Kelly Rowland. From the vocal performances to her outfit choice to her over dancing, I was disappointed. Kelly can do better. She has a cute little shape, but that outfit looked a mess on her small frame. (On a brighter note, Solange did her thing.)

Ne-Yo. Help me understand how you can write some of the biggest hits of the millennium and put on a wack performance?

Robin Thicke. Vocally….what was up Robin? You’re a bad boy, but you sounded tired on stage.

Jennifer Holiday v. Jennifer Hudson
I’m going to give it to………Jennifer……..Hudson. Why? Because I felt she just did her. Jennifer Holiday – aside from looking like a made-up transvestite – appeared to be over-singing. Almost as if she was trying to prove she was the real Effie.

BET Pre-Show
Lloyd’s latest album is off the chain, but did anyone catch his pre-show performance. His hair is gorgeous. But that hair paired with that purple blouse he had on suddenly made him appear sus……You be the judge.

Beaming for the cameras, Paris Hilton walked out of jail this morning after serving what she has called a life-changing sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related driving case.

Shortly after midnight, a smiling Hilton was escorted by deputies out of the jail complex's door. She waved to a crowd of nearly 200 reporters, photographers and others, and walked up to a waiting Escalade carrying her parents.

Oh yeah.....I forgot to mention that T.I. punched Luda's manager, Chaka Zulu, in the face at Kevin Liles brunch.....How ridiculous. Now what could have been that bad that you have to go and mess up someone else's nice geture. You can dress 'em up, but you can't take 'em anywhere.

DAME DASH & WIFE GET INTO IT

According to the NY Post, spies at the downtown hot spot Socialista got to watch a brief public quarrel between Damon Dash and his wife designer Rachel Roy, Wednesday night.



"They got into a screaming match," said a witness. Dash, who co-owns the club, was spotted at Cipriani Downtown before hitting the after-party for Lorraine Schwartz around midnight. "He was in an altered state," said our spy. "Rachel was curled up on a couch with another guy, and when he saw her he flipped and stormed out." Roy stayed put, but Dash headed back to Cipriani. A rep for Dash says, "There's no trouble."

Every time I think about this couple, I think of the fact that Dame left this chick for Aaliyah. When Aaliyah died, Rachel ran to Dame's side (Dame's words not mine)......Girl get a back bone. She's as bad as Kim Porter. Now I have nothing against being there for someone in their time of need. We all need to forgive and move on, but don't be a fool. This girl is just a plate of seconds at best. Dame was so tight-lipped when they married. For the first couple of weeks, he actually denied the marriage. Rachel seems like a smart girl. She really should be with someone who puts her first.
