Yesterday, Russell Simmons hosted The Diamond Information Center Celestial: A Diamond Affair 2007 Aquifer Suite in Hollywood. Eva Marcelle (formerly Eva Pigford), Sanaa Lathan, and Serena Williams came out to model the jewels from his “Green Initiative” jewelry collection.
Twenty-five percent of the proceeds will go toward the Diamond Empowerment Fund, which will support institutions, like schools and colleges, in South Africa and Botswana and help boost economic development.
