After enduring rumors that he has a secret love child with 26-year-old Trinidadian model Shenelle Scott, Jay-Z is finally speaking out. According to the rumor, Jay-Z allegedly paid Scott $1 million to keep his name off the baby's birth certificate and to keep quiet about the child they allegedly have together.
"There is no truth to these ridiculous rumors," a spokesperson for Jay-Z said in a statement. “People should be ashamed of using this kind of story and exploiting a child for publicity and ratings.”
Scott and Jay-Z allegedly met on the set of Jay Z’s video “Big Pimpin” in 1998.
According to reports, the boy was born Jan. 30 2002 in Los Angeles.
