According to the rumor mill, Melanie Brown secretly married her boyfriend, music producer Stephen Belafonte, in Las Vegas in June, per marriage records in Nevada.
The couple tied the knot on June 6, according to a marriage license filed in Clark County, and first reported by celeb gossip site PerezHilton.com.
In a statement to People mag, Brown's rep said: "Regarding the marriage, Mel and Stephen have know each other for many years and were great friends first. Now they are deeply in love. The two are very happy together."
The couple first got together when Brown was pregnant. "He was a really good friend and good support to me during my pregnancy," she told People in a recent interview. "He's a really sweet guy."
