The NY Daily News reports that Mya may be up for a role in Broadway's "Chicago." Duncan Stewart, the casting director responsible for Usher's turn as Billy Flynn and Ashlee Simpson's as Roxy Hart, was spotted scouting her at a party she hosted Saturday for 10 Cane rum at the Dream hotel.
In other Mya news, the singer was spotted performing at Skool'd, a benefit event hosted by Richie Rich on Wednesday night at Sol in New York. The proceeds go to the Ali Forney Center and the Reciprocity Foundation — organizations that assist lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender homeless youth in New York.
