A man in Detroit was charged Tuesday with mailing threatening letters to Jay-Z, his wife, Beyoncé, and football star Jerome Bettis.
The complaint, filed by Bettis, stated that Leon Desmond Barrett has been sending the three threats since 2006. To no surprise Barrett denies the allegations, and claims the letters were sent because of a legitimate — but unknown — dispute with the former Pittsburgh Steelers running back.
