Where there’s smoke, there’s often fire and in Mary’s case the house is on fire. After rumors of splitsville, pals say the singer and producer have reconciled after a tense period, the low point of which was a decision to divorce on Dec. 7. The two appeared together at Golden Globes parties in Los Angeles Monday, cooling talk that the couple had privately decided to split.
It was both the couple's fourth wedding anniversary and the day the 2007 Grammy award nominations were announced. Blige led with eight nods.
"It isn't a happy household there right now," says an insider.
It's generally accepted in Hollywood that any romantic splits will be covered until after awards season so as not to hurt the artist's chances of winning. But pals believe Blige and Isaacs are trying to make it work.
"They might be posing for the cameras, but their friends are sure they would probably get back together," adds the source. "You never know in this biz."
