LOOKS LIKE BEYONCE & JAY REALLY TIED THE KNOT

So after all the hoopla and speculation, I feel confident saying that Beyonce and Jay-Z definitely tied the knot on Friday. Let’s recap…..



Rumors started swirling on Tuesday, April Fool’s day after the two were spotted obtaining a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y. Eyewitnesses reported that "They were very polite and smiling as they filled out the paperwork. They were holding hands for a while. They looked really happy."

DJ Cassidy, who was hired to spin a the reception, added fuel to that fire when sources reported that “ he mentioned a week ago that he was really excited for Jay Z and Beyoncé's wedding party to happen.”

Early Friday morning, workers erected a white tent atop the building in Tribeca, where Jay-Z owns a penthouse apartment. Not long after, an SUV carrying what seemed to be AV equipment arrived, followed by deliveries of party rentals and flowers. Anonymous sources have reported that Amy's Orchids was hired to provide 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand for a "big party." There, a floral designer turned the orchids into eight-foot garlands that hung down from the ceiling to make the location look like an orchid palace. At the apartment, waiters were seen practicing their service.





"Entertainment Tonight" reported that the bride's dressing room had been set up in Jay-Z's building's gym, and that the groom-to-be stocked his refrigerator with champagne to serve about 30 guests.

The alleged reception drew several guests decked in white including Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow. Guests started arrived around 7 p.m. ET and continued into the early morning hours.

A neighbor of the rapper told reported that preparations for the wedding had been in the works since Tuesday. He said he's seen Jay-Z and Beyonce a few times since they moved in to the apartment a week ago -- and that they've been ideal neighbors.

Finally, the nail in coffin was my girl MJB. Apparently she can’t hold water. I assume Hov didn’t have a talk with her. It seems that just before her set in Greensboro, NC she gave the duo a shout out, “I first want to congratulate my boy J and my girl B, that’s what I’m talking bout…he did the right thing.”

Of course to that mums was the word from Hov. Appearing on stage with no response and no wedding ring he’s not fooling a soul.

At the end of the day all you can say is Congrats!!! to the newly married couple. Y’all know I love black love!!!!!!!
