After all the bad press Chris Breezy is getting here's one tidbit that fell through the cracks. The NY Daily News reports:
Sorry, Chris Brown haters. The R&B star maybe isn't quite as awful as some media reports are making him out to be.
Late Sunday, articles went up on a number of gossip sites about how Brown, currently hunkered down in Miami patching things up with girlfriend Rihanna, went out partying at the Gansevoort South hotel with celebutard Khloe Kardashian.
People.com's piece had Brown "stepping out of a car with cutie Khloe Kardashian," according to their eyewitness. Their reporting has Brown spending time with rappers Young Jeezy and Plies at the hotel's chic rooftop bar and pool Plunge, adding that Kardashian and Reggie Bush were present. The piece simply concluded, "There was no sign of Rihanna at Plunge."
Perez Hilton, Access Hollywood, Extra TV, and RadarOnline all quickly followed suit, throwing up tales of Brown out drinking with his pals, supposedly leaving his battered significant other at Diddy's Star Island home, where the duo is staying.
The problem is Brown wasn't there.
While Kardashian acknowledges she was there with Jeezy and his crew - drinking, we heard, nearly $5,000 worth of vodka and champagne in three hours - she took to her blog to vehemently deny the rumors she even knows scandal-embroiled Brown.
"So I woke up this morning to a ridiculous amount of missed calls and news EVERYWHERE that I had been spotted out and about in Miami with Chris Brown. The funny part about this alleged 'news' is that I've never even met Chris Brown!" the reality TV star scribed late Sunday.
Instead, Brown was working on his music. "His friends shot down that partying claim quick," our insider said. "He went to the Setai, where Lenny Kravitz has a recording studio. Chris was in there working when all those gossip people said he was out drinking and partying."
He's due in a Los Angeles court on Thursday to answer to the assault charges and is just trying to "focus one day at a time," our insider said. "Rihanna is with him, but she's still not ready to go public yet."
GV Says: I'm still perplexed that he's working on music now. Does he not have more pressing issues like court? I just feel like his persona is like 'whatever.' I do believe in forgiveness and change, I'm just not really seeing it in him.
